  1. Sold a mid grade for $50 recently. Not particularly easy to find for some reason. I don't even know where my high-numbered Shazams are . . . the attic maybe? Ahh, that's where they all are

  3. For an interior page? Yes. It basically matched what the McFarlane ASM 328 cover sold for a while back. The Heritage site says it sold for $657,250 - the exact same price as the ASM cover.
  4. Really? That is fantastic news! I loved that series and bought every issue when it came out. I'd love to see that made into a film. More comics like that would be nice, too. I hope Garing does more issues now.
  5. Thanks. I might have to at some point. For now I just want to enjoy it raw.
  6. Picked up a nice Conan #24 last week.
  7. Sell your Hellblazer #1's. Hold your Swampy's. (thumbs u
  8. I'm kicking myself for not buying 3rd prints several years ago when they were much more affordable. You and me both. $10 in high grade
  9. You don't need to be in the narrative to appear. It's funny how people view appearances like these. Most of you guys seem to see it as insignificant. I see the opposite. It's an appearance the goes under the radar until it's uncovered by an enthusiastic collector. I understand most collectors want the flashy cover done by the hot artist and that's all well and good but one of the reasons I collect Harley appearances ( and early Deadpool appearances ) is because they are hard to find. Even BA 12 was unknown to collectors for some time despite the fact that she's on the cover. This particular issue is similar to Batman and Robin Adventures 1 where Harley appears on a poster on the cover. Both issues are early appearances that I would want to own. Fair enough. You should collect how and what you want to. My personal opinion is that 'appearances' are within the narrative. so in your opinion, Gobbledygook 1 should not be considered a first app of TMNT? I wouldn't say "should not". I don't. Some people do. All good.

  11. Seriously, I don't consider this an appearance. It's not. "She" isn't in the book. A photo of her is. Too much of a stretch, surely. At least Darkseid speaks!
