  1. That would be boring compared to an Xenomorph (Alien) Cenobite (Clive Barker's Hellraiser).
  2. This is what I'm using until I get a custom cabinet. I'm happy with them. I prefer the corrugated plastic. BAGSUNLIMITED
  3. Well...someone got a huge deal on that one! I would have tripped over my own on the way to the button! Congrats to the winner!
  4. I guess I haven't been able to figure out how...seems to me like you can't.
  5. Rich, please add another Totally Awesome Hulk 22 to my pile. This time, I'd like a blue label to go with the yellow label I bought a few days ago. Also, please upgrade both books to onsite grading. I believe my next bill should be $155? ($125 blue label + $30 for onsite grading for both copies).
  6. Can you drop off CGC slabs at a con for reholdering service? Not onsite...but to save shipping and insurance costs.
  7. MGN 4 per PM. Payment on its way Joey! Thanks again for everything.
  8. I thought that McFarlane signings were handled exclusively by NYComics. What happened?
  9. I already regret not pulling the trigger on the Mr. Miracle. I came here this time to buy.
  10. I'll never sell mine unless I'm lucky enough to upgrade somehow.
  11. As an owner of a 9.9 copy...that's great news! And congrats on the sale!
  12. I suggest adding Dominique Dickson to your blocked list. His eBay ID is: dicks_domin 1. He negotiated a price with me through the "buy it now" option. 2. After waiting a week for payment, I emailed him. He told me that "PayPal wouldn't release [his] payment" and promised to pay me the following morning. 3. He never paid. I gave him an additional 48 hours before opening a case for non-payment. 4. He still never paid or contacted me. The case is now closed and eBay has refunded my listing fees. All this over a $27 comic. Complete waste of time.
  13. On my latest reholder sub - the invoice date was 7/19 and the ship date was 7/25. I got the book through USPS Registered Mail (slow) on 7/29. That's pretty astonishing. Not to mention the new slabs are so much more substantial and solid-feeling than the old ones.
  14. Well, that was the issue. If you cracked it out, of course they are going to re-grade it. Anytime you crack out a book, there are absolutely no promises that it will retain grade...just like when I crack slabs for signatures. Had you left it in the cracked slab, I bet my next paycheck it would have retained its original grade. I've sent many slabs for reholdering...I never take them out of the slabs...and I've never had any problems. Lesson for everyone? NEVER take it out of the slab when you send in for reholder service.
  15. I recently worked out a trade with a guy, and after things were agreed upon, he noticed cracks in three slabs. He was straightforward about it and offered to pay for the reholder and shipping fees to and from CGC. I immediately subbed them for reholder service, and I'm happy with the results. That's how it's done. I don't see an issue with getting them reholdered if the comic is still undamaged inside the case. If the book was damaged, I'd have to negotiate with the seller.
  16. If they are paying for shipping and reholdering, it's a much better deal than $15. That's the way I'd go. Bad experience with reholdering? Care to share?
  17. I can't wait for a 10.0 to go up for sale, but I know I'll have some competition from some heavy hitters. We'll just have to see how crazy it gets if a copy ever drops.
