I am done with CGC, completely fed up! Major slab holder issue.

I've definitely placed a few high value reholders on hold. Just too rare and expensive to risk this nonsense. Hopefully the CGC will make it right. -

No way. They are trash compared to the new ones. This damage looks like it's due to mishandling, not the design of the slab. Slabs aren't meant to be dropped. -
SPAWN 221 - CGC 9.8 Amazing Fantasy 15 homage! Issue 220 kicked off a massive series of homage covers. I'm pretty partial to McFarlane's work, and I must say that he really knocked it out of the park with these! I can't think of a single bad homage cover in this little run of the series, and I look forward to sharing them all with you! These are all very desirable issues.

Rob's art is awful, but... I was a young teen when Image was peaking, so I have sentimental feelings for the entire roster and all the drek associated with them. As for him "being out of his mind..." Nope. He can charge what he thinks he is worth. People are free to pony up the cash or move along. You know why he raised his prices? Because he knew he could. And he was right. No need to be sore about it. That's how capitalism (and collecting, in general) work.

SPAWN 220 YOUNGBLOOD SKETCH VARIANT - CGC 9.8 Here it is, folks! This was the rarest of all the 220s. I used to have notes about the supposed ratios of each variant, but I can't seem to find them. That information would be suspect anyway. As mentioned before, it's pretty hard to trust the information after finding out how the publishers play games.

You guys should probably make that clear to your customers, who are convinced, based on the fine print, that all books are encapsulated with microchamber paper. Clarity and precision is never a bad thing. EDIT: Well, in fairness, the fine print does say "vintage." But that means different things to different people.

1. That's extremely unfortunate! I'm so sorry! 2. The damage is there for sure. But as you can clearly see, unfortunately, there will be much more apparent damage than a series of spine tics! I was just saying that postage mishandling isn't going to lead to localized damage like spine tics (that's probably the fault of the presser...I mean...butcher).

Looks like a Cookeville to me.

SPAWN 219 CONVENTION EDITION - CGC 9.8 - SIGNED BY MICHAEL GOLDEN AND JON GOFF I love the way the signature placement and the red ink turned out! This was a beautiful signature series book! I almost always picked the placement and the ink color. The cover says 500 were printed, although I will forever be skeptical of publisher's claims after the latest Spawn variant fiasco (#306 Netherrealm edition).
