  1. YEah, I don't even like the book and these are pretty bad .
  2. Looking at there other auctions they seem to have a few other decent comics...if you like those high grade rare comics The seller is a boardie and really nice guy!
  3. I think I'd rather have AF15. Ditto. Sell the WD, buy a 9.8 and get an AF 5.0 for pretty much the same price.
  4. Here's a link: http://www.craveonline.com/tv/previews/556481-the-walking-dead-season-3-deleted-scene-rick-hallucinates-lori
  5. Is the Jim Lee cover variant worth anything more than $10?
  6. I have no idea why this is a key (I'm new to comics outside of knowing DC and Marvel) but wow, that is an amazing cover and an awesome book! Congrats! Thanks! Comico was a much beloved indy publisher for us children of the 80s. Primer 2 was THE issue to own from them, and has remained a fan favorite even after 30 years. It was the first appearance of Matt Wagner's Grendel, the character equivalent of, I guess, Wolverine for them. All early Grendel appearances were going for big money back then. But this issue was the crème de la crème. And yes, very cool cover. Black border makes it especially difficult to find without spine tics & creases. Tiny print run as well. All adds up to being a key issue from that era. And some people think a spine stress automatically excludes a book from 9.8 status. There is a stress right on the FC of this. And some people are just haters... I really don't think he's trying to be a "hater". I think he was simply pointing out that there are 9.8 books out there that do have a spine stress mark on them. Maybe CGC went easy on this one because of the black cover..... 9.8's can have minor defects. That said, I'm a big proponent of buying the book, not the grade-- that book to me is not a 9.8.
  7. Two old school characters, Negan, blood and a lot of zombies. Actually sounds about right...
  8. Just snatched up this early page. Really wish I owned the page before it when they finally find Tyrese! Also, poor Carol.

  10. Insane to see this book just getting RIPPED after the amount of love it had 45 days ago.
  11. This was the first variant i ever bought, and it just came back a 9.8. I'll be holding onto it for a while!
  12. Not to derail the thread, but does anyone know why Preacher #1 doesn't go higher? People LOVE this book, many consider it a modern classic, but getting it in high grades is cheap and easy.
  13. Saga #1 had a 35K print run. And I do think 15K is a big difference.
  14. I just can't fathom a book with a print run north of 50K is going to command $125 or more long term slabbed, even with the popularity. Supply v. demand
  15. Well, now that we've all discussed our hoarding habits, I think we can safely say this book won't reach big time numbers anytime soon.
  16. There will definitely be more. I subbed 5 back when it came out and could not believe I didn't get any 9.9's. Great paper stock.
  17. Lets not all sell all at once!
  18. I hear you, but if you just want something authenticated, there are services for that. CGC is still a grading service at its core...
