  1. We both have the same thinking That was pretty much my plan in going there on Thursday. I expect the line to enter would be long and likely early birds! My hotel room is close to Pikes Market, so I will wander in there with my friend to eat something after the show. I had been there few times in past, but will be my friend's first time this year.
  2. The lamp has the original share which is not common If it is not stained, it's an easy 100 Yeah? ... what the heck, I'd take up on that! If the OP can get the owner to let go for the price. Would look good on my nightstand by my bed Forget to mention that there are two lamps in the pictures. The one I was talking of is the one on the bookcase, the shade with the superman icon on it. I like it
  3. Anyone in Seattle knows of reasonable motels or inns with budget of $75-85 per night (or less)? My friend and I are trying to find one that we can sleep for two nights - Wednesday night and Thursday night Update... never mind what I said in here. We worked out and had found one place at a great deal close to ECCC. Reserved 2 nights done and checked off on list. It is within 11 mins walking distance, which is good to me. Next is to take days off from my work schedule.
  4. I saw one that I sort of like is the Superman lamp. Would look great in my bedroom.
  5. That was my thoughts when I was looking over the photos here. Makes no sense to have comic book price guides that many when there are so few and worthless books. Why waste money on guides? There must be something you are missing in the estate?
  6. The question is ... what is RX comics' endgame when the sale ends? Not the store closed, but the overstock in there. I was amazed how so many boxes stacked up inside the store. I had only seen less than 1/3 and the rest are buried deep under tables, and what about the stockroom in behind with even more stacks of boxes? I wonder what is buried else? If I get a second chance to revisit again ... next week or no?
  7. my friend took all 4 boxes of them for lot less than the half dollar coin per. Good deal! I found a small batch of low grade late 1940s Classics, some SA/BA/CA books. Had to do a little digging in the dang narrow paths! My butt get more attention with other butts rubbing like dogs!
  8. Wow... thanks for the heads up. I was surprised that RX Comics would be gone soon. I was thinking of visiting to see what it is like. Guess I should go today to browse with a friend.
  9. Ok, and thank you for another great chapter of your thread! I think by suspect that I will miss your next last two listings. I will be working at that time anyway. Maybe if luck on your last one?
  10. Yeah and the one i took wasnt haha I didn't take it because I wasn't sure if it had the black cat story. 2 variations of that book Yes, I didn't go for it as Dale did not mention which one. I do not want be stuck with the wrong variant.
  11. It was Truly... congrats to who got it first. I think 5 of us tried to pull our trigger?
  12. Super pretty. You have some stunning early 12 and 10 cent DCs in this thread. Agreed, some of nicest DCs and of my favourite titles.
