If you are speaking in terms of "variants" (as I seem to get from your question) I would say always pretty inconsistent, as all these cover variants are niche books at best. On the contrary, if you are looking at foreign editions on an historical perspective, you can manage to have a clearer vision of each country’s market, as the collecting habits are very different. Even with his inconsistencies, for example, the italian market has more or less values upon which one can make his judgements. Keep in mind that outside USA for most people a VF/VF+ and a NM are more or less the same thing.

I simply mean that for some people it’s harder to apologize, to admit their weak spots, or simply to reconsider their convinctions. For certain characters, a simple gesture to step back in means "I apologize" or "I have changed" but it would be tough for them to do more, so one should learn to appreciate it and appreciate the subtleties of each single person, even with its shades.

Unfortunately, it’s how human nature is. No good reason to give up and thinking it will magically improve. You are needed as much as everyone else, but you must accept each other limits.

From my experience, they are usually unpublished material. I believe they are like a short story with some character bios at the end. I only have a couple and they are pretty old though. Thanks! Not really, it’s surely a remarkable offer for modern collectors. I was looking at that issue X and kept saying myself I absolutely did not remind the cover, then I see it’s a Dynamic Forces variant. I was pretty sure to have the 99,5% of all the Earth X/Universe X/Paradise X books and spinoffs, so I was wondering if I had X, or was there just in that form? I should have an issue X, even without the DF variant cover…
