Just watched the season finale to Season 2 last night. I'm completely blown away by the acting and story. This is one of the best shows I've ever watched, and maybe the best drama. When...

Best one yet. I've got a couple similar ones I can post images of.

...not to mention the big uproar when DC Direct starting producing their own figures and they were 7" scale. -

The Super Powers line seems to be pretty popular and well-received from what all my friends have been saying and posting. -

While I was talking that picture I figured I'd share what's right next to it. Custom animated Timm-style characters that were mostly unreleased by Mattel when they had the TNBA/STAS/JLU license. These were done by a friend of mine and he finally decided to part with them after several decades. I was happy to be able to purchase some. 😊 -

Snapped a picture of the display stand since it now has some permanent residents. 😊 The R2 is mine from childhood, pinched the Chewie and Jawa from the sale stash and the Vader came in today. Luke, Leia and 3PO are on the way, as well. -
I'm currently watching "For All Mankind" and it starts out set in the 60's. Fantastic, even sublime acting and exemplary character development all while staying to the way the country was back then with the treatment of women and minorities. It can be done, and done extremely well. It's just a matter of if they want to expend the effort or not. Again, the comics can provide the exact tone and direction for what will be successful. If the comics weren't successful over decades then it wouldn't be on their radar as a valuable property now...would it?

You should have erased the artwork as well.

For the same price of that silly cardboard envelope they could have used a Gemini mailer. Less if purchased in bulk. For less than 60 cents more they could have also added a couple 1/2" thick cardboard pads. It's ridiculous, really. -

The full trailer was not shown during the Super Bowl. It was just 30 seconds of DP himself in various quick-cut scenes with a tag at the end that the full trailer was online. -

Buyer purchased January 13th (Saturday). Tracking (9400108205499676839499) shows USPS in possession of item on Jan 16th, then on the 20th it's "Arriving Late" which is the last update. I filed a missing package claim with USPS, then refunded the full purchase price plus shipping to the buyer a week later. Today he left me the negative shown in the picture. Pretty appropriate username because it sounds like "jackhole."

We are into season 2 and I'll tell you, the acting is absolutely amazing. Lightyears above anything that's on network television. It's funny how Kinnaman is entirely forgettable in schlock like the Suicide Squad movies and yet he is completely riveting here. I'm also really impressed on how the show can weave through so many different sub-plots and character developments seamlessly and smoothly.

Picked up a beautiful condition Kenner mail-in display stand this week along with a bonus custom acrylic case. The only figure I've got left from my childhood is R2-D2, but after him I'll populate it with the best condition original 12 I can find. This was a mainstay on a shelf in my room when I was young.
