  1. Well, damn. I no longer own a bluray player and this is a top-10-all-time movie for me. I LOVE special features and behind the scenes stuff, too. Ugh...do I buy a new player just to own this? Lol.
  2. You should ask this question in the Golden Age Forum.
  3. What opportunity? Just the fact that they chose these characters to make a movie out of means it was doomed from before the start. Want to know the ONLY thing that will "right the live films ship" here? A Spider-Man movie. That's it.
  4. Frank Cho is a treasure. Great sense of humor. That's a guy I'd love to hang out with. Unfortunately the day I met him he was rather grumpy, but I hear he gets that way sometimes at cons. As far as artwork...damn, the guy is mega-talented.
  5. USPS just started cubic, at least as far as eBay shipping goes. As far as a 20 lb package from NC to CA...yeah, if it's 6"x6"x2" maybe. Otherwise, nope. A standard 1095 box that's 2 lbs from SC to CA is around $11 at least.
  6. That's why I commented. Bill said they were 35 pounds each. That would be "suspect" as the difference between Media rate and Ground Advantage rate is a good chunk of $$$ for that size/weight on each box.
  7. Media Mail for comics? You're lucky they weren't cut open and inspected.
  8. Interesting. I wasn't aware of these but without much room (it seems) to put bubble wrap around the slab itself it still seems "naked" as far as protection.
  9. I'd only use Gemini mailers for raw books. They're perfect for that but not big enough to allow extra protection for slabs. I second the double Priority Mail box method outlined above, or even a single 1095 with bubble wrap for cheaper slabs. I've shipped a couple hundred and never had an issue.
  10. Now that we're caught up on For All Mankind, Dad and I have jumped into this. We're 4 episodes in and it's fantastic. His father (my Gramp) was a bombardier on a Flying Fortress in WW2 so this hits close to home for Dad.
  11. One of the larger collections I've ever purchased arrived this evening. The three biggest pieces (Flagg, Defiant, Terrordrome) weren't even shipped...trying to sell them locally where they're at first simply due to the size. Regardless of that, I've obviously got plenty to do. Lol. All the parts for the vehicles are in Ziplocs and there wasn't even enough room for all the figures to be put on my desk for IDing (I do know a lot of them by sight). Fun times ahead this weekend! 😊😊😊
  12. The performance was still far better, even with only the voice. Leagues better!
  13. So, you were dropped on your head at some point as a child? I've got two words for you : Mark. Hamill.
  14. Finally watched this last night. Wow. The acting is just so so impressive. Great job by Murphy, Downey, Blunt, etc.
  15. LOL. Once again a studio doesn't get something right...right off the bat.
  16. I'm in the process of buying my cousin's sports card collection and he mentioned a few weeks ago that his son had 3 boxes of comics that he no longer wanted. Of the 360 books less than 50 were worth shipping. Still, nearly everything was high grade. Nothing spectacular save for the ASM #135. It's about a VF+.
  17. They are but I don't think they offer the same protection. I'll have to check but I never use it for business transactions or purchases.
  18. Those are amazing! I love the small die-cast Shoguns. I had Draigun and Gaiking as a kid. In modern news, The Toddfather finally made a figure of himself. No surprise there.
  19. The only thing that offers protection is PayPal. Money Gram, Western Union, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp all have zero protection.
