They're all part of a collection I purchased, but the guy I purchased them from is willing to put the Flagg and Defiant up locally for sale for me. I'll give him a cut for doing so, but I think that's the direction to go to avoid shipping both to me and then me shipping them out once I sell them. The Terrordrome is shippable without too much risk, so I'm not worried about that. Thanks for the advice, guys.

When Taschen had their big sale on the 1st of the month I decided to grab the companion book to the Frazetta. It was 50% off, which is a steal for any Taschen. Took them a while to ship, and it showed up this evening. Brilliant artwork.

The only other benefits I can think of don't have to do with having a store (I think...not quite sure). They are : putting in a 1-day shipping/handling time (you get 10% off final value fees) and being a top-rated seller (10% off shipping fees when you print labels through eBay).

One of the things that executives just don't get. If you have a quality TV show based on a character, it will do very well. If you have a quality movie come out featuring the same character while the show is going on, it will also do very well. They really are clueless. Focus on the quality of the product. Nothing else matters as far as financial performance.

I have over 3,200 listings that renew every month (over 2,000 of them are comics). Last month I was only charged the 25-cent listing fee for 83 of them. I have the $27.95/month store subscription. Big savings depending on the volume you have listed and how you list them.

While I was talking that picture I figured I'd share what's right next to it. Custom animated Timm-style characters that were mostly unreleased by Mattel when they had the TNBA/STAS/JLU license. These were done by a friend of mine and he finally decided to part with them after several decades. I was happy to be able to purchase some. 😊

Snapped a picture of the display stand since it now has some permanent residents. 😊 The R2 is mine from childhood, pinched the Chewie and Jawa from the sale stash and the Vader came in today. Luke, Leia and 3PO are on the way, as well.

I'm currently watching "For All Mankind" and it starts out set in the 60's. Fantastic, even sublime acting and exemplary character development all while staying to the way the country was back then with the treatment of women and minorities. It can be done, and done extremely well. It's just a matter of if they want to expend the effort or not. Again, the comics can provide the exact tone and direction for what will be successful. If the comics weren't successful over decades then it wouldn't be on their radar as a valuable property now...would it?
