  1. I don't believe that for a second. He knows exactly what he's doing every second of every day. He's stalling for time until he can collect as much cash as possible and then disappear.
  2. I've picked up several this past year. They're out there if your search is wide enough and you're hustling.
  3. Intermingling of his personal books and client's books accidentally? LOL. Yeah, riiiiiight. Pull the other one.
  4. LOL. If you think this is going to affect their bottom line AT ALL, there's a bridge I have to sell you.
  5. I haven't seen an uptick in cancellations, but I have seen an uptick in buttmunch low-ballers. One guy lowballed me on 37 listings. I awoke to that the other morning. Declined every one then blocked him. Stupid effer.
  6. Interesting that the Amazing Fantasy #15 he sold has just "AF 15" as the title. Almost like it was pre-arranged where someone would look for that exact listing and it wasn't active for long.
  7. Just because he's paid to suck and has sucked since the 70s doesn't mean he doesn't, in fact, suck. That's terrible artwork no matter what way you slice it.
  8. Have you thought about getting an eBay store? For $22/month you can have 1,000 free listings.
  9. ...or when Ghost Adventures finally find one! Do you realize they've been on 17 YEARS??? Lol.
  10. Good point. How long have you been selling on eBay? Did you try asking for a limits increase?
  11. That 250 should reset itself on the 1st of February. You can just list them then.
  12. Who knows why they do what they do? The point is that no matter WHAT happens, they will continue to make money hand over fist. They can't fail. This is a blip. That being said, what WOULD it take for them to actually lose business? No, I'm not talking about the 14 people on this board that will stop submitting for 137 days. I'm talking about something that would actually affect their bottom line.
  13. First of all, who cares who he told what to and what he said to them? I've collaborated with the President on Foreign Policy, with Paul McCartney on a song and with Bill Parcells on the NY Giants defense during their Super Bowl win. See? Anyone can say anything...doesn't mean it's true. He lied. The public doesn't know about this "scandal" at all. 98% of the people who submit comics to CGC don't know about this. Most of them probably wouldn't care, anyway. It doesn't affect their lives as collectors or sellers. How many people can afford to spend $5-20k on a comic book? That number is very small. I was talking to a local collecting friend of mine last night. He has lots of CGC books. Lots. He buys them on eBay and from the local shops. He had no clue about any of this, and none of the local shops do either. The general collecting public doesn't care. I think that what CGC has told the public is exactly what Blackstone/Blackrock/Blackface's lawyers WANT them to say. No more, no less. They could give a rat's behind what the public wants/needs/demands, ESPECIALLY the faceless vocal rabble on an internet message board. Do they need to say anything? Nope. As I've said before, the money will continue to roll in as it has before. This "scandal" will affect none of that.
  14. I'll take the Micronauts Battle Cruiser on the shelf behind it, please. Many fond memories of that toy when I was a kid.
  15. Why do you believe the public is entitled to know what CGC is doing as far as involving law enforcement? Honest question.
  16. One of the greatest scenes in the history of Star Wars. I was smiling wide and laughing the entire time, almost to the point of tearing up. Felt like I was 5 years old again. It was powerful.
  17. I really really REALLY want to get this set and Doom, but I don't collect action figures anymore. I only have a few random things here and there. They do look absolutely amazing, though. I. Must. Resist.
  18. These scrubs are on the big screen before infinitely more deserving characters. It's horrible.
