  1. Not John Byrne. Not by a longshot. He ruined Byrne's 1982 Surfer one-shot.
  2. Those are ridiculous prices. Each of those books is $1 or less in NM.
  3. On Facebook there's a group called Action Figure Identification. They are wizards. Usually within minutes you'll have all your answers. I can't recommend them highly enough.
  4. Sounds good man. Thanks for letting me know and congrats again!
  5. I'm seeing a lot of $20-30 stuff that's come crashing back down to Earth selling VERY steadily. As in whenever I get a copy in it's gone pretty quickly. West Coast Avengers #94, Daredevil #270, Venom Lethal Protector #1, Spawn #1, etc. You just need to buy at the right price to begin with, as you well know.
  6. Yes, I did. Couldn't be happier for him...the entire haul is a dream! @F For Fake the hollow cheek Tusken won't be available for sale in the future, will he? I'm looking for one and would even be up for a trade if you're looking for comics or other toys. Great great scores all around!
  7. Networked non-local contact that originated through my business and has turned into a good friend. The deal started taking shape in early February. I traded some early 1980s hockey card sets and 3 Golden Age books toward my part of the deal, then finalized it with the rest of the cash a couple weeks ago.
  8. It's a third print. The story is : great friends that care about you want you to do well. When you put in the effort on yourself, they want that even more. I've worked hard for many years now and I'm very thankful for everything in my life, especially since Mom passed unexpectedly last year. She was so proud that I'd turned my life around and I've been so much happier as a result. Things like this purchase have continued to happen the more positivity I've put out into the world with my actions.
  9. Yeah, you could say today was a damn good day. I'll sleep well tonight.
  10. In my Top Ten movies of all time. I adore this film. Perfect performances all around.
  11. As a huge Byrne fan, you have insulted me. Also, you're incorrect. See: Byrne. Edit : Just make FF #242-244 into a movie. Count your billion dollars. Done.
  12. I'll see what I can do for ya when I get home.
  13. Read that on Facebook this morning in a card collecting group. Is that true?
  14. The first 50? Not sure I can do all of that tonight, sorry. I'm not home until 10pm. If you needed a couple I could swing it.
  15. Ah crud. Sorry about that. If I was home instead of at the store today I'd scan the one(s) you needed from the book. Maybe someone else here has it and can help.
  16. Buy the Marvel Stamps book. It's amazing!
  17. I'll try the freezing first. How should I protect it all? Large Ziploc bag? Artwork on bottom and paper on top? Any other paper surrounding them? How long should I freeze them? I can provide more pics of everything if needed. It's a rare piece so I want to do this right and prevent any further damage.
  18. So I've got this Dave Sim Cerebus thing where there's original artwork and then the letter/cert with it. The art must have been laid on top of the cert thing while the ink was still wet or just printed, because it's stuck together on the bottom. If I pull it apart when dry it will tear (at least the surface if not completely) but I'm afraid to soak it. The artwork is not on that part of the piece, it's centered. How would you go about trying to separate the two, or is it a lost cause and should be just left as is? Opinions welcomed, please. Thanks.
  19. "Look at me! Look at me!" I can't stand YouTubers.
  20. It can even do both at once.
