  1. That's what I was thinking, too. I'm completely turned around on the Ward thing. I really think it's a mistake to have a romance between he and Skye, as well.
  2. I think that SHIELD will still exist -- it will need to be re-organized and the rest of the HYDRA infestation exterminted! Wasn't that a story in the comics? Yes. This happened after "Secret Invasion," when Skrulls secrectly infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D., which was then disbanded and reformed as H.A.M.M.E.R. in "Dark Reign." Fury has gone underground before that, following "Secret War," when Maria Hill became Director.
  3. I think that SHIELD will still exist -- it will need to be re-organized and the rest of the HYDRA infestation exterminted! I'd bet that they're going to go "lean and mean."
  4. Thought it was a home run. . . really enjoyed the movie.
  5. Yep, happened here, too, including one, "Oh, NOOO!"
  6. Funny that when I noticed the introduction of an already known character, and one with some sketchy history as it relates to Fury, there was sarcasm over my excitement over a "character that no one knows." My thinking was. . . show that focuses on characters that had not existed previously (outside of Coulson, a movie character) and all of a sudden a known character shows up, even a lesser known character, then that person bears watching. Was I suspecting this? Not at all. However, I also am not convinced that you're right. . . yet. Next episode will reveal, hopefully. There's another character (one of the few previously existing characters) that I also have my eye on. . .
  7. So, with all the people holding off on sending books in right now, do you think they'll get the TAT down to a reasonable time? I've got some books to send.
  8. That's what I was thinking, too, which is why I asked about the GL. There's some cool art I'd like to put with them. Now, having said that, I've had the Sideshow website up for over an hour, and I'm wondering about the Catwoman.
  9. Does that one go with the Batman that just came out? Has anyone else seen the Catwoman they have posted? WOW!
  10. I only have one. A recent purchase. I was lamenting my lack of expertise in Golden Age books, and this one was pointed out to me. Not high-grade (or even mid-grade), but I thought it had an interesting cover, so I picked it up. . . I like it. I keep looking at it, newly transferred into mylar.
  11. That's a cool page! I just bought more than a short box full of stuff at a back issue sale.
  12. If anyone hasn't seen this in person, there is more detail than I thought. I really like that one.
  13. Some of us keep saying that it isn't a surprise that the show started slowly. . . most of Whedon's shows start slow. I won't quit on one of his shows early on.
  14. First thought was Kree( or Doctor Manhattan). Still think Skye is a pink Kree. +1 on the Kree theory, including Skye. But a little early for a DC crossover, don't you think? I'm thinking Kree, too, and wouldn't be surprised if Skye was some sort of Kree hybrid like Carol Danvers. Even though this isn't a surprise to anyone following, here's a non-show spoiler (if it was for the show, I wouldn't use the tags) for an upcoming movie, in case someone is avoiding the information. . . As for The Clairvoyant, I'm only aware of a few precogs in Marvel (Destiny, Blindfold, a few others). Could it be a time traveler?
  15. I know the show has tons, but here are examples from one episode. The episode of Big Bang titled "The Jiminy Conjecture" show had Wolverine Origins (mini-series) #2 and Flash #123.
  16. Well loved. On a book like this, I always hope that the backstory on the condition is that some kid loved reading it so much, that they wore it out like my nephew does when I buy him books.
  17. I have a second print #1 that needs scanning.
  18. Ok, here's the one I'm sure you've all been waiting for! I'm in the Club.
  19. Uh, Life Size Han in Carbonite? I'm selling my car. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/brands/star-wars/han-solo-in-carbonite-preview/
  20. Somone (I think it was Slym) mentioned how great the books look in mylar, and I concur. Some, of course, still look better than others just because of the covers. . . I have my Manhattan Projects, Saga, and Fatale books in Archives, and they look spectacular!
  21. I like it, for sure. I can't wait to see the rest of the line!
