  1. I haven't seen this thread in awhile. Nice looking set-ups, everyone. I was waiting to set things up in my place, because I had a 6 month lease, and figured it smart not to unpack too much (I really only unpacked essentials). Then, I signed another lease, and thought, I could unpack SOME stuff to put on the walls. Then, I got the second dog. . . I'll have to hang stuff high with this one. The Batman Sideshow is going back into the box, before he decides one day to just turn the table over. When he's a bit older (1.5 years), I can probably trust him. Ha ha!
  2. I got the Canary Bombshell. I have a hard time saying no to her.
  3. Some very nice books there. Thank you! I was pleased to find the first print X-Men graphic novel and I jumped on those Men In Black at 50% off. I needed the Campbell cover for my X-Men collection and the Silver Surfer for the Silver Surfer collection. Having Neal Adams in town made me lament having sold some of my Batmans, and the #227 cured that itch.
  4. I promised a scan. . . sorry that the lighting makes it look like there's spine marks, but they're obviously not on the book. EDIT: scan moved to post with other books
  5. This is what I've picked up at Dallas Comic Con and Comicpalooza the past two weekends. . .
  6. Coulson, May, Simmons, Ward, and Deathlok are all at Comicpalooza this weekend. . . I'm going over to say "hello," so I'll just slip in, "Hey, is Skye an Inhuman?"
  7. Ha ha! I'll ask them next week when a bunch of them are here for Comicpalooza. I might get a SHIELD shirt, and have a small Hydra symbol put on the back. The other character with a Kree connection (though not actually Kree) is Mantis. There may be a lot of people looking for her, and it would tie in with Guardians. That's a possibility, I suppose, but what are the similarities between Skye and Raina? Also, I re-watched the episode and the drawings could be a planetary map.
  8. Your lighting really makes it. . . I'm not 100% sold on Harley or Joker, but with the way the shadows are in your photo, it makes me like them more. I've got the Batman, and then have the Superman, Wonder Woman, and Catwoman on preorder. Thinking about the Ivy.
  9. It's like in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" when everyone who had encountered the aliens started making things that looked like Devils Tower. The "doodles" that Garrett & Coulson made are basically a Dreyfus Mashed Potato Sculpture of Devils tower. Possibly coordinates to lead them somewhere? Interesting.
  10. How does that hypothesis tie in with Garrett, and then Coulson, making the "doodles" on the wall?
  11. You're right. The one I bought is the only one I've ever seen. . .
  12. No, it doesn't. Eventually it will have to, as I only have so much space! With the DC pieces, so far my plan is to just pick up the chicks from the Bat universe, but Wonder Woman is very tempting. Yeah, expensive as collecting is, space is the main challenge with these things. I have every DC PF so far, with Superman on the way sometime this month, and Sinestro, Wonder Woman and Catwoman on order. Wonder how long I'll be able to keep up with the line before I tap out. I'm less concerned about space than I am about the big furry galoot I just adopted. He just stood up on his back legs and I realized he could reach The Dark Knight.
  13. Those are very cool. The Vision and Scarlet Witch together look amazing. Jason (Sufunk) is going to have a break down when he sees the Vision. He had a big man crush on that character. The Vision is awesome! I think I posted it earlier in the thread.
  14. Wish I would have come across one at that time. . .
  15. Thanks! The Harley and Batgirl are from a line of "Animated" statues that DCD did several years ago (I have Zatanna in another room). The Ivy is a ceramic piece that I picked up at one of the old WB Gallery stores back in the 1990's. You don't see them very often. I always liked the look of the glaze/paint job. Thanks again for listening! I don't have any of those, but I do have this JLU Black Canary...
  16. I really need to look into these. Thanks for posting this, Ryan! Sweet!
  17. Oh, you're right. That's a longer-term storyline.
