  1. A #34 second print has also been a pain to find. I got burned by one on eBay about 2 weeks ago. I always figured the variants would be harder but no way. These are much harder to locate in great shape.
  2. Now Jerome about 3 weeks ago I saw a error variant on eBay w/ no reserve that had 3 days left. It was 9.6 blue label. I was all over it and then with a day left the seller removed it. Pissed off doesn't describe what I was when that happened.
  3. The #7 and #8 second printing are easy as cake to find though.
  4. Ya know what's crazy is this damn #33 second print is so hard to find in mint condition. I've got 3 and all are banged up. I order a #2 second print and it's a solid 9.8 candidate or higher. I don't get it. Don't even get me started on the #35 error variant. Indiana Jones couldn't find that book.
  5. These tend to hover around $20-30 on eBay. I don't see anything special about them. Although i'm bitter since i bought a #7 and #8 thinking they are first print when they are really second print since the covers are identical. Didn't know. I actually have those 3 in 9.8.
  6. Do you guys think #7 and #8 second prints are going to be worth anything? I know #2 and #33 will be. Didn't know about those.
  7. I've certainly thought about that but I don't just don't have the room for all those books. I'd also like to get some splash art and other things also.
  8. I kinda thought 43 through 48 might be keys just due to the whole governor/prison sequence. What about the death of Morgan/Douglas?
  9. What would you guys determine as the "keys" of the series? I've got different opinions and looked on different website but can't get a concrete answer.
  10. What about any of the governor series? 43 through 47? I actually have all the variants but I'm only going to keep a few. Mainly the 50 Larsen variant, 94 sketch, and maybe the birthday cake variant. Also didn't know about the birth of Rick's daughter or the issue where Glen and Maggie get married.
  11. Well I thought about keeping the books that had minor to significant death. That turned out to be too much. I basically know which books to keep after #48 but it's #1 through #48 that's giving me a headache. Again I'm looking at which books would hold value after the show and series is done. What about any of the variants besides #50?
  12. Also, the reason I'm asking about this is I have all the keys from the series(or pretty much). I need to clear out space and I'm only going to keep about 20 to 30 books. Just trying to get a base of what I should keep. I thought about buying a few #1's and #19's or something along those lines. Even thought about selling my silver age keys to fund it. (Avengers #4, TMNT #1, and Hulk 181).
  13. 1 2-love the cover 9-favorite cover of the series 48-all Hell breaks loose 75-letters page has my first published letter 79-letters page has my second published letter featuring a poem Love the whole series but those are the ones I personally would want to stockpile Do you see anymore holding value for the long haul? #19 or #27? Or maybe #6?
  14. So I have a particular question for some of you WD fanatics. If you could add any issues to your collection what would it be? What key issues would you have to have if you were adding WD books to collection for good. Don't say "All of them". Just what you would keep as "key" books in the series and holding their value for the long haul.
  15. You're all crazy. The first appearance of Father Gabriel is where it's at. I'm thinking about grabbing this book. It's marked down from $5,000!! It's a steal right now. BIN here I come!! WD #61
  16. A 9.8 is difficult to find. There are only 5 in the census at that grade.
  17. $8 according to comicspriceguide.com. But with the WD premium, I'd say approximately $1,000. Signed? Probably $650 or so and just blue label around $450 or so. No where near $1000.
  18. Does anybody know when the next TPB is supposed to be released?
  19. I hate at first the newer graded books don't get any notes as in random appearances or deaths. Then the same books that get slabbed a few months later have better notes attached to them.
  20. Why the hell are all these WD PGX slabs turning up on eBay? Most of them are signed and issues I'm really wanting but not by PGX On top of that I finally find a #13 SS on eBay and this clown wants $500 bucks for it. What a joke. /End Rant. Overpriced WD #13
  21. I actually found one on eBay. Guy is asking 15k. That's not bad at all!
