I know that, judging by the art I've looked at. Remember, I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff. I just meant are some pieces worth it? Considering I'm not a all out collector and just want pieces to hang up.

Hey guys, I've been looking at some artwork recently to add to my collection and hang up in the ole' man cave. I've been eyeing anything I can find The Dark Knight Returns. I found some cool transparency stuff but was wondering if it's worth purchasing or what the difference between that and the original artwork? Also, if anybody can point me in the right direction for Dark Knight artwork I'd be very thankful!

I thought you might sell your HI since you sold/are selling the rest of your WDs. Full cast signing on #1? :thinking: that would be pretty BA, cant say I've seen it before! Get a Moore AND Adlrard AND Kirkman sketch on it,too I'm honestly thinking about it. It's already got a Tony Moore sketch and it's a 9.8. Cast signed #1 would be awesome though.

I decided not to crack my HI book and I'm going to sell it. I'll tell you this much though, I'm seriously debating on cracking my #1 and getting it cast signed. How about them apples?

Definitely the back. That's what I was thinking. I'm going to get every cast member I can find to sign it along with Kirkman and Adlard.

If ya'll were going to get sigs on Hero Initiative that's still blank on the back would you get them on the cover or on the blank back? I'm thinking about getting a bunch of celeb sigs on it from the show.

No it's not, I could get Adlard to do a sketch or maybe get Charlies sig and Kirkmans sig on the front?

No haven't gotten any notes on it yet. I might send it to Joey for pressing though. At the very least have Joey take a look at it and offer an opinion. (thumbs u After giving it some thought, I'm going to keep it the way it is. CGC should have given these books NG or all 9.8's IMHO. I could get it pressed and maybe raise it to a 9.2(if I'm lucky) but I wouldn't gain anything. I don't plan on selling it. The money was used for great cause and regardless of grade it's a true one of a kind.

Yeah, my Hero Initiative book sketched by Ty Templeton. I was really hoping for at least a 9.6 or so.

Well my Ty Templeton HI book came back with an 8.5....

Anybody know what that Ty Templeton HI cover graded at?

Finally got it in. This one is signed by Jerry on the first page and from his private collection. I know it's not a high grade or white pages but it's a book that I'll always cherish being a Batman fanatic.

That Kweon HI cover is listed and holy god is it sitting at a high BIN. Don't get me wrong it's a gorgeous book but when the proceeds aren't going to charity and its a 7.5 grade, I think the majority will be passing.

It's a white label so we all know he'll never get that... Kidding...only kidding

That is a good deal. I've debated on just buying a 33 second print raw and just going with it.

I'm gonna say 15 to 16k.

Hell I'd take a 9.4 or something at this point. The #35 error variant is really stupid to me also. a 9.8 can fetch over a grand.

A year ago I saw a million of them and couldn't find a 33 2nd print and now it's reversed.

Damn him, I need that #2 2nd print bad. I can't seem to find one anywhere. Although his price is really high if he had a 35 error variant that was a 9.8 candidate then his price would be spot on for those books. Anybody find out the grade on the Templeton cover? I haven't gotten mine in yet, the suspense is killing me!
