  1. Okay that makes sense. Like I said, not knocking MyComicShop it just seemed weird. I didn't know their consignment reached to eBay.
  2. Also, I'm not calling MyComicShop out but why are these books listed at this price? I'm just wondering if they are that rare or if MyComicShop is just seeing if someone will bite? Again not calling anybody out just wondering, I haven't read that series. Turtles Adventure CGC 9.8
  3. I have no idea Adam. I was pointing it out just to make fun. I saw it in my searches earlier and it was going for something like $700 which is amazing. It seems any issue no matter what character or characters there are people that will pay it. Can I just thank you to everybody in this thread. I had a decent TMNT collection two years ago. Sold most of my collection to fund a house buy. Got back into my roots with Batman but this TMNT thread has sparked my love for the turtles yet again and honestly it would be hard not to put them in front of The Dark Knight based on my love for the series as a whole including every interpretation. So, thanks! Turtle Power!
  4. I saw that yesterday! FIrst thing I noticed was the case. The new PGX? Can't believe how they straight up stole the CGC look....or am I missing something here? That error is interesting if in fact there is an error edition. I've yet to find another raw one. I've got one on hand but it's numbered differently.
  5. Yes, that's so awesome! I'd love to get Peter to sign it also. I would get one of them to write my name "To: Chad" on it but that would kill resale. Not that I plan on doing that but you never know.
  6. That's gorgeous. I've really gotta get on the ball and get mine to Joey for pressing. Still want to get Kevin to sign it though.
  7. That movie cover brings back memories. I've been looking for that sneek peak for awhile. That book is tough to find.
  8. I just love the covers of that run! Are you getting them graded or getting a raw full set?
  9. Just had a buddy say he was gonna start buying PGX slabs of turtles books so he can press and resubmit into CGC. My first thought was "Good luck when they come back 8.0 purple labels". Also, anybody seen this? TMNT Error eBay Listing
  10. Those are gorgeous... I'm just getting around to starting on that run.
  11. No he was challenged Sharon/skypinkblu and I spoke to his mummy. Well if that's true, not be a d*ck, but the kid doesn't need to be collecting knives. We told him that too! If you can't tell by now he was always kind of set in his way about things. Well from I read he did enjoy reading golden age comics

  13. I read about 100 pages and I honestly couldn't tell what his deal was. Either he was(bless his heart) a little mentally challenged and didn't know when to stop or that's one of the best trolls to dominate a message board since Al Gore invented the internet.
  14. So does anybody have any Captain America books to trade? Man, that thread is great. Been reading for 30 minutes.
  15. Ah man. Well, I'm up preparing the bottle for my son, and my wife asks me how was the movie. My answer; The turtles and Splinter were April's pets. She even said it like such a cornball (hand goes to my head as I sigh), and Splinter found a book on Ninjitsu to teach the turtles (hand goes to my head as I sigh)- learning the art of Ninjitsu from a book- who knew and there was constant cgi (hand goes to my head as I sigh), of course we would expect a warped story line, tons of cgi explosion, and cgi turtles, but there were too many things not right. The Foot reminded me of weak "Immortal" soldiers from 300 that relied heavily on guns and didn't use Ninjitsu or their bodies to fight. Then there was Shredder, who was more like Shogun Shredder from the toy line. So full of metal with boomerang sharp blades. Not to give anything away, but I thought we were going to see Super Shredder at the end, but he was super throughout. What saved it a little was Donny's wittiness (My favorite turtle), some interactions between the turtles, their comradary, Splinter having a cool fight scene with the Shredhead, and a rooftop scene with Shredder and the turtles. I tried to like it, I did, but there were too many things just off-putting for me. For those of you who haven't seen it, of course go see it, and try to stay positive. I'm usually a guy who takes movies for what they are, but being a turtle lover, it was hard to stay smiling. Nrccijr, awesome shell and Talbot artwork. Sweet man!! I wonder what would happen if you wore that shell to work I'll be slightly more succinct: The movie was an absolute pile of *spoon* What kills me is while they changed that stuff non of it is far fetched at all. I have a real good feeling if Bay's name hadn't been attached and Megan Fox cast then this movie would have been looked at different.
  16. Well, now I know my next project. Thanks for sharing!

I wonder what would happen if you wore that shell to work Yeah, I think it's tough for people our age as turtles lovers to like it. I loved it but I'm in a small crowd I'm afraid. I do think it's an excellent way/movie to usher in a new generation of fans though. I agree with the back story tweaking wasn't a great move but I felt the action was incredible and Donny was my favorite by far.
  18. Just got in this print signed and numbered by Kevin. Can't wait to get it framed with a green mat.
  19. So no matter what they are gonna be green labeled by CGC?
  20. Also, have any of you checked out the Cover B for the SDCC TMNT reprint books? It's the gray/white cover? It looks like all of them are signed...weird..
  21. I keep getting sniped on the Lego Variants. I've got a WTB thread up for them. If anyone here has extras, I'm interested. I got one that came in that should be a 9.8 and the other I don't know about. I have some more coming in. If I have extra's Adam I'll let you know for sure.
