  1. Wasn't it a #232 a page back? I personally don't like writing on my comics, and even though I'm a Marvel collector I definitely wouldn't want writing on that DC cover. Adams or otherwise. It was, I'm sorry. Getting my books mixed up again. I wouldn't be selling it and it would be for my collection. I'm just scared it would come back a lower grade. Neal has a lot of great prints available (more in person than on site it seems)... Get one of those signed, framed and hang it on the wall. I'd keep that 9.6 as it is! Thanks for the opinions guys! I'm going to get him to sketch on a blank cover of Batman #0 or something similar I think
  2. Ah, I see my Templeton cover on there. Still waiting on that baby to come back. Can't wait. I'd love for it to be a 9.8 for my registry set but the cause it went to is much more satisfying and saying I was a part of it is awesome.
  3. I was seeing around $400 or so, is that about right? I still paid out the nose for the "Lucille" edition.
  4. I wish I hadn't sold my collection last year honestly but it let me start my Batman run. Now that I'm back into WD and with these prices it can't get any better. Now if I can just get # 2, # 100 Red Foil, and # 100 Ottley sketch that will have the major purchases over with thank god.

  6. Honest opinion guys, would anybody crack open the #251 I posted in this thread a page back to have it signed/sketched by Adams?
  7. I only paid $1800 for my 9.8 SS #1 a month ago with a Tony Moore sketch. I'd say that's a big drop considering in December I sold my 9.8 SS by Kirkman & Moore with a sketch by Moore for over 3k.
  8. Finally got my Batman #232 in. Took forever to find the grade I wanted at a reasonable price. Love some Neal Adams goodness
  9. Some of those #1 BIN's are amazing. I guess they either actually think it's worth it or somebody will eventually come along and click the button.
  10. Maybe I'm being naive but I really hope my Hero Initiative Walking Dead 100 comes back a 9.8. I know each book is a one of a kind of goes to a great cause (which I'm happy I'm a part of) but it sucks to drop that much $$ and it be a lower grade.
  11. Who do you use, if you don't mind? I've only ever found two other sub services akin to what Dre does. It's a guy named Jerry Reyman. Really good guy and takes care of anything I need.
  12. I've got my own guy for standard issues. The variants and con issues can be hectic though. That's where Dre rocks.
  13. I actually like it! I'm hoping Dre gets some 9.8's. That guy really takes the pressure out of buying 9.8 candidates.
  14. It took about 4 eBay messages before they finally got back to me. If you haven't gotten a response or package by now I'm sure it's at the CGC already. You're right. I just noticed they do it for free so they probably go ahead and send it to CGC. (thumbs u
  15. Really wish "Hero Initiative" would contact me back about that Ty Templeton book. Left a voicemail earlier. Has anybody ever contacted them?
  16. I missed the Walt Flanagan cover. I really wanted that book.
  17. I've yet to hear back have you? I found a number on their website I'm going to try calling today. I feel bad for bombarding them but that's a ton of money to drop and not get what I need. I'm hoping it's being submitted also. Wonder if all of those covers in October will be available or some special offer? I'm hope their are no second prints. They really need to chill on the variants.
  18. The Hero Initiative doesn't guarantee any specific grades on the sketched books. Well, here's hoping my get's a 9.8. I do hope they catch my message in time. I doubt if I got the book and submitted it myself that CGC would recognize the SS and it would get a "qualified" grade. Then send it back to HI to submit... I bet they would help. That's what I'm going to do. I paid right when the auction ended. As I said I emailed them and sent an eBay message. I also haven't gotten a "shipped" notification or a tracking number so maybe they haven't shipped it. I'm sure if they haven't then I can pay them and they go ahead and submit it.

  20. Does anybody know if the Hero Initiative books that are eBay by the organization are guaranteed to be 9.8's? I bought the Ty Templeton book and forgot to tell them I wanted CGC to grade it. I've sent them a eBay message and email. Hoping that they get it in time.
  21. Dear god you've gotta be kidding me. Just when I had about all the WD 100 covers finished then this pops up.
  22. Does anybody know when the "Walking Dead 1 10th Anniversary Edition Full Color" is coming out? Didn't know if Dre or somebody would offering this book in CGC fast track like you can snag sometimes.
  23. I hope these are supposed to be 9.8's If not I spent way too much on mine.
  24. Just won my HI WD 100 book. Ty Templeton did this one. I really love this one so I went after it. Might go after the Walt Flanagan one, don't know yet.
  25. Not necessarily, if its relevant to the set it'll get added. Do you think it's relevant? I honestly don't. They are fetching crazy prices on eBay and some are already graded are at like $1500 BIN.
