  2. Good morning, A missing staple can affect the grade but by how much will depend on the condition of the rest of the book. If the book would be a very high grade otherwise, then the graders can decide to give it a qualified label. It won't affect the grade but will be notated on the label in that case. If the overall condition of the book would result in a lower grade then it would get a universal label but the missing staple would be factored into the grade.   3. Hi, we won't be able to make a notation for the graders until the package is opened and the submission is logged in. Once you receive the email letting you know it is in the system, then you can let us know the submission number and we can put a note in for the graders. Thanks!

You will see that same status the entire time it is with CCS. The status doesn't start to change until it moves over to CGC to start grading. Thank you,

  10. Good morning, Thanks for your message. No, that label is still active so there shouldn't be any reason for it not to appear. If you can't get it to come up when completing the online form, you can make a notation on your packing slip to add that label number to that specific book and we can get that added for you. Just be sure to make the notation in large bold print so it doesn't get missed. Thanks!

If you receive a submission back and you notice any damage or issues like this, you can certainly contact our customer service department and we can have you send the books back for a reholder at no charge. You just have to report any damage or issues within two weeks of receiving your submission back to qualify.   16. Hi, thanks for your message. You will have to create separate orders for different signings. You can only select one option per order so if you have already selected one artist, the form will not let you select another one on that same order. You will have to complete that order and then start a new one and then select your next artist. You can submit them all together in one box but you will have separate packing slips for each signing. You also can't have any regular items in your cart already or the private signing option will not come up.   18. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Right now our Modern grading tier is running about 80 business days from the day we receive the package till completion. It is hard to say at this stage if it will be completed by mid-July or not. It has not started grading yet so it will probably be cutting it close. I would contact our customer service department towards the end of June and they can give you a better idea of when it might be done. We can change the shipping address on the invoice any time as long as the order is still here in house. We just can't make any changes once it ships. If you do need to change the address, we just need it in writing. You can email us at: submissions@cgccomics.com with the invoice number and the new address at any time and we can update that.   19. Good morning, Thanks for your message. You do want to try to use the drop down menus when possible to make sure your online form calculates everything correctly. This book is classified as a magazine due to its size. When entering items into the form you will want to check the title listed in the indicia and select that from the drop-down menu. When the correct title is selected the form will autofill the remaining fields and you make your selections from the drop menus to select the specific comic/magazine from our database. Keep in mind this functions similar to a library catalog; do not use articles such as "A, an , the" in the title. If you are unable to locate the specific title in the drop-down menu because it is either a brand new item or a unique item that CGC has not yet graded then you may manually enter the book information using the "ADD NEW" button located in the drop-down menu. When items are manually entered into the form as opposed to making your selections from the drop-down menus the system does not recognize the book and may not be able to accurately quote the fees nor suggest any eligible custom labels for comics. The fee for CGC Grader Notes varies based on the tier the comic book or magazine was submitted under. Grader Notes for collectibles that you submit are free (if available)! Free Grader Notes are available for most submissions from May 2012 to date, and earlier Grader Notes are available for a fee in the Verify CGC Certification tool. To see if any collectibles in your submissions have Grader Notes, log in and click "My Submissions". Then click "View Status".
