  4. Good morning, It would depend on the condition of the rest of the book. However, we no longer notate extra staples on the label. The extra staples would have no effect on the final grade in any range, although books made with extra staples tend to be in lower grades due to the overhang that it sometimes causes. Thanks!

Good morning, If the sketch is not witnessed by an authorized CGC witness then the only other way for it to receive a signature series label would be to come directly from the artist with a creator agreement form. This form basically verifies that this artist did complete this work on a specific date. It must come directly from the artist to us, however, in order to be accepted. You can obtain a creator agreement by contacting our signature series department at: signatureseries@cgccomics.com. Thanks!
  12. Good morning, Yes, that invoice is in line for the signing. Even if your order is opened after the cut off date, it will still be added to a signing as long as the signing hasn't taken place yet. Generally, there is at least a few weeks from the cut off date to the actual signing date, to allow us the chance to get as many invoices opened and logged in as possible for that signing.   13. Good morning, Thanks for your message. No, that is not normal. Due to a high volume of emails it can take up to 72 hours sometimes to hear back but it should definitely not be 10 days.   14. Hello, regular reholders are not an expedited tier so they will get opened with the regular mail. The only exception to this would be if you were submitting a book back to fix a mechanical error. In that case you would write ME on the outside of the box. Thanks!

Our graders can decide to bump a book up to a higher grading tier if they feel it was significantly undervalued but we would not assign a specific dollar amount to the book. For any paper collectible, including prints, sketches, comics, magazines, etc. we recommend keeping the temperature between 70-73 degrees and about 50% humidity. The most important thing for long term maintenance is avoiding big spikes in temperature and humidity. Thanks!

You may submit through a facilitator, however, and the facilitator can submit them to us on your behalf. Facilitators are authorized CGC dealers who can provide witnesses for our Signature Series program, receive and submit orders at shows when CGC is not in attendance.
