  3. What is the process for getting pertinent information added to the labels on CGC Books. Ie; "USED IN SOTI" As I've noticed there's a few books that don't have that labeled, when they are Infact SOTI books.
  4. Well mess, talk about a small world .... nice $41 CDN snag ;) I was gonna bid on a few of those books, but fella was asking too damn much on 95% of them
  5. Prolly the only guy under 35 in the world who collects Classics Illustrated (Canadian Editions too!) Picked these up at my local comic shop..collection walked in the door, and I've been waiting a few weeks for the owner to let me sort through it and pick out the goodies I wanted! Most of these are doubles, but I'm hoping some are in nice enough condition they'll be upgrades for my other copies!
  6. Picked these up this week. Bummer about the Cinderella Stories cover, but still incredible to own none the less!
  7. Blue Bolt #108 is an absolute classics. But how about a Blue Bolt #108 CANADIAN!
  8. Picked these up from a fella who was selling his collection of Ghost Rider Sketch books. Grabbed the ones I liked the best!
  9. There's a real simple way to solve this nonsense. Personalozed autographs ONLY. "To ________" The flippers, resellers, and influencers will right off
  10. Borderline Bronze Age .... but Heart Throbs 120 is an absolute classic IMO
  11. Got lucky at an antique store in Washington State a few days ago!
  12. Not my book, but someone posted it to a Comic Group on FB .... 4.0 Universal with a missing page.
  13. Less than Calgary when it was prepandemic. Didn't get anything signed this go around, I had wanted Stokoe to sign some Moon Knight stuff, but I forgot my books at home. Didn't take any pictures of the events itself either, was busy digging through bins!
  14. Fun event, lots of comic vendors this go around and some great deals to be had! Picked up quite a few books. I was the tall guy with the nice twirly moustache for anyone who saw me 😅
  15. Sad to see a major lack of celebrities, but a decent selection of artists will be there. Can't wait to go digging through some bins
  16. I am stunned CGC made the right move here. Props and heck of a job to everyone for keeping on this
  17. If you read the whole series (60 issues) Poyo doesn't play an overwhelming role. He has just enough appearances and cameos that it fits wonderfully in the bizarre world they've created!
  18. AMAZING Weird series or read. One of the best series I have ever read. Was absolutely blown away by the story and the humor, and POYO is the GOAT.
  19. I just upgraded my WWBN 32 from a 7.0 to an 8.5 for virtually the same price I paid for the 7.0 a while ago. It's been falling pretty quickly. Still a pretty significant jump between an 8.5 and a 9.0 though.
  20. It's a catch-22. I wont be buying as much, as it'll be unwise to spend money in this type of economy. On the other hand, other people will be offloading books and prices will be tanking, making it a fantastic opportunity to buy some books.
  21. I like watching the instagram live sales just to see what people are asking for books, and what insufficiently_thoughtful_persons are paying for them. I don't know if people just get caught up in the hype, if sellers have shills "buying books" to attract others to do it, or whatever the case, but I have seen books sell for way more than you could buy it from doing 1 minute of research on eBay.
  22. I hope it keeps dropping, there are WAY too many copies out there for this book to be that high.
