ATTENTION EAST COASTERS:
This Friday and Saturday (May 30 and 31) I'll be signing at the Image Booth at Book Expo in New York City.
And Sunday June 1st I'll be at Hartford, Connecticut's first Hartford Comic Con!
See you there??
Man, I'll try to convince my wife to go with me on Saturday to Book Expo, even if it's just for an hour or two. At what times are you gonna be there at the Image booth on Saturday, Ken? Who else from the Image squad is gonna be there with you?

I think its sad to know people are trying to profit off the death of Bernie.....
Bernie isn't dead... he lives in Kirkman, in Adlard, in Gaudiano, in Rathburn... Yes James, he even lives in you...
Well, I thought this went without saying.
Btw, I was loving Ken's reply from earlier regarding Bernie, hell and Todd. The whole situation was genius and had me

Awesome video. Had me dying when he answered "Describe Robert Kirkman in three words."

Did anyone else find the recent issue a bit underwhelming? Maybe it was just the long wait and my anticipation, but it read quickly and just didn't have the substance. I trust BKV, but I didn't like the most recent issue. I also shouldn't be able to read a comic in 5 minutes or less. That always bothers me.
I liked the last issue, but I agree with you that it was too short. After the hiatus it would've been cool to get a double-sized issue...

Appropriately for a Twilight Zone book, this is LITERALLY from the future! (check the signing date!)

One question:
who is Jason Stryker?.
The guy that experimented on Wolverine. There's two incarnations that can be seen in X2 and XO:Wolverine
I thought that was William Stryker, Jason is his son.
You're correct. Jason Stryker is the mutant son of William Stryker; following his father's orders, Jason battles Professor X in X2 almost causing Xavier, using Dark Cerebro, to kill all mutants. Later with Mystique posing as William Stryker, Magneto orders Jason to coherce Charles into killing all humans.
Jason also shows up in X-Men Origins:Wolverine.

Too bad James J and I didn't get any other boardies on board to email something like that en masse. It'd have been awesome to synchronize and send at the same date/time... or at least on the same date.

Just sent this email into the letters section:
"I have no words. The loss of Bernie has affected me greatly. I know that no characters are safe, but Bernie?! I am not sure I can continue reading this book. All my hope is lost for the future. I hope you know what you are doing Kirkman."

Why is Todd on page 3 ? Did the world quit turning ? Did hell freeze over. Did I run out of peanut butter ?
Todd-lers (just typing that caused me to ), lets keep things in perspective. Todd is always page 1 material.
Shame on us...

Issue 19 didn't disappoint! I read it during my lunch break and did a double, triple and quadruple take with the first page. I wasn't sure if i was looking at what I thought I was looking at and then...... yup, it's what I thought.
Mother Nature (Mother Unnatural in this case) is a beautiful thing.

Anybody care to tell me why Chew is so good? The art isn't that impressive. Cool story?
Looking to get into a new series and this seems to be pretty popular.
I think the art is AWESOME! Guess diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, but I'm a big fan of Rob Guillory's art. I'm not caught up with the story, but Layman has an interesting, funny and all around great book with Chew. I gotta catch up...

You could learn lots from Tank Comics. He posts here, fast shipping, no shills, perfect packaging. MCS is good, but no one beats Tank.
TankComics on eBay is our very own ItsJustRyan and he truly is a class act. (thumbs u

, he's going to start asking around and no one will know.
Email sent.Well Carl Elvis started this... he should finish it."Dear Letter Hacks
You killed Bernie? WTF man? You lost yourself a reader!
Furious Carl, NY"
Wouldn't it be hilarious if it gets printed
Whoever vets them at Skybound is going to be like "who the f is Bernie?"
Would be cool if a lot of us here sent this same letter/email in to Letter Hacks...

1st issues of Five Ghosts seems to be picking up a bit...
saw a few sell for $7-10. I may have to try and unload some of mine.
Personally,
I'd sell half after SDCC.
But I'm really, really dumb...
Thanks for the tidbit.

Just met Ken at WonderCon. I apologized for my wait for the trade mentality befitting of a hectic schedule and picked up his signed trades. I have to say he is one of the friendliest creators I have met in this hobby. Big props to him for being there for fans, sharing comic book talk, and being an all around nice guy. I hope they can continue making this amazing comic for a long time.
Thank you again for your time and signatures Ken!
Heck yeah! Ken is cool as hell.

I brought the convo over from TWD thread... hope you don't mind!
My most highly anticipated book is def the next Todd.
Speaking of getting intellectual by reading Todd, my most embarrassing Todd story occurred last year when I was in Federal Court waiting to be called or dismissed from jury duty. We were in a large room, it was early, quiet, very quiet. There I go reading Todd and all of a sudden I burst out laughing out loud and people of course stared at me like I was looney... the security guards gave me dirty looks...
