  1. Well, I don't want to get everyone overly excited, but the plan is to do ANOTHER set for SDCC this year. We'll have 6 covers instead of 5.

Please let's not shower me with PMs trying to get them in advance :) I'll see what I can do to work something out...maybe we can make something exclusively for you guys, as your support has been awesome. I'll let you know!

Also, we are going to get some sketch covers (at last!) with issue 13. Should be just in time for NYCC.

  2. Wonder what Rosita wants to tell Eugene?
    baby on the way!
Maybe she wants to say: "Eugene......

Did I miss something though? Which issue was it that there was even remotely a connection between the 2 of them? Last thing I remember is she wanted no part in that. Your telling me that after 2 years and different communities, that Eugene is the only male for her? Lame

I'm just playing along on a post from another boardie who said Rosita looked pregnant... thus my joke of Eugene not being the father of said baby because she's never been interested in him that way.

  3. Ok noob question here. What is the deal with the obligatory comic haul on the bed pics? Is this a law in most states?

Most spacious place for a lot of peeps to lay them out for a quick pic...

Not in this state. Here, if I get that many CGC comics in the mail in 1 day, I'm usually forced to take all of my pics from the dog house. ;)

    :roflmao: Clever!

  4. I just want to thank everyone who sold me SDCC sets :)

How many total sets were there anyway ? I have one. You have 48 ... :roflmao:

I have a 9.8 blue set. I wonder how many of the 50 are owned by boardies... hm

  5. After reading issue 127, one thing that sort of concerned me is...

It's been two years and Rick doesn't look like he fully recuperated from having his leg broken by "Knee-gan." He walks around with a cane, makes a comment to a member of the community he see running around and lastly, Adlard now draws Rick with a different posture to reflect the damage to the leg. I know Rick is a mean mudda-effer, but I'm curious to see how he'll be affected when all hell breaks loose again... People with leg issues tend to not survive in TWD universes (see Dale in the comic and Hershel in the show).

Also, wassup with Carl's look? Am I the only one who thinks he looks kinda dumb and too "emo-ish?" Carl is too bada$$ for that look... right?

he's an awkward tween/teen now...that entire age group looks out of place.

lol So true even in our reality...

  7. WTF ? The Walking Dead #127 sold out at Midtown ? That was fast !

In-store Midtown is limiting to one per customer... :ohnoez:

WOW. When was the last time that happened? Is this a rare occurrence?

Don't know if this is new they let me grab a couple this morning at Times Square without batting an eye.

I came back like 45 min later and got my second copy. I havent been this excited about WD in a long time. This was the best thing Kirkman could have done in my opinion after AOW

Limit one per customer at the Downtown store. It's kinda effed up if they're not doing this across all three stores.Whatever though, I got my extra issues at another shop.

I have been picking up three issues of TWD since around issue 97 and never seen them limit TWD to one per customer. This is a first for me... Even 108 I was able to pick up like 8-10 issues.

  9. I agree wholeheartedly.

It looks like I'm in the minority regarding things like TPBs, but then again I never even thought of the nightmares like all of the additional printings of said TPBs.

That's why it is nice to have a community of more experienced Boardies who can help with these sorts of issues.

I see a 9.9 or 10.0, and think, "Oh, pretty. Must have...", hahaha.

Now I understand some of those pretties should be in non-competitive slots.

I don't think I can say this any better than how you already expressed it, so just gonna add a +1 to this comment!
