  1. I've drank only water and coffee since May 17th. Wonder how long I can keep this up.
  2. Let me check tomorrow if I have that one... if so, we can come up with something if you want it
  3. Haha yup. As I was saying, the prices for that (and many of the first print omnis) went bananas after they sold out. I still need a few DD if anyone has any they are willing to sell me
  4. I think they printed that one before and it sold out. I went looking for it and prices were real high. I need to preorder this still
  5. I've read a few compendiums (Invincible!) And rest them on a few pillows as well. That does help.. but I get the majority of reading done now in bed after the kids are asleep and my wife passes out Can prob try the pillow thing in bed anyways
  6. I've been collecting omnibuses for years and have a pretty cool bookshelf full now but I admit, I've yet to read one! For those that do read them, do you find them heavy and cumbersome? I usually read in bed and I dont know if it would be comfortable holding these things. Having said that, they collect a lot of cool issues and I want to start enjoying them more. They look awesome on a shelf though!
  7. So I'm kinda weird with this... For my Marvel/DC Super Hero keys, I have to have a blue label. I wouldnt even entertain the idea of any restoration or a purple label. But for my PCH books, I welcome a "small amount of color touch". I think it has to do with the fact I just want the cool cover and gruesome book. A little CT might actually enhance the cover and make it more visually appealing. Plus half the price. (I also generally crack my PCH and keep them in mylars). Strange how I have such differing opinions based on the type of book but this is how I've approached things.
  8. I agree. Ultimate Spiderman was one of the most enjoyable runs I ever read. I'm "only" 35 so Spideys early issues weren't apart of my upbringing but of course I knew the history. This was a modern take I absolutely adored. I've wanted to re read it all since.
  9. Just when I think I've read and heard it all...
  10. I think it's worth reaching out to them... I mean, they very likely wont do anything, but its something they should be made aware of.
  11. Yeah that 1:25 variant is pretty hot right now. Thanks
  12. So which are the key Punchline books to get? That new Batman character.
  13. I'm surprised Tom King didnt doodle all over some of those books!
