This was a great way to open the season. Bruce and Alfred are both brilliantly cast. I agree the moral compass conversation has more to do with Bruce still growing up. And we know from the comics that Jim has personal struggles from time to time - it makes sense that was rooted in some questionable choices with unknown consequences in his younger career. As to Barb - I think we're going to find out she's not actually who she says she is... she is demonstrating some dual personality and is becoming friendly with Joker...

- Ok, I earned that. Was infinitely creepier than I anticipated. Let's try again: I was a Superman/Batman fan when Turner showed up to do volume 2. Ever since, his version of Supergirl has been my all time favorite. I think it would have been neat to have Kara's costume more closely reflect that version of the character - though I must agree the crop top wouldn't fare well.

Beautiful Supergirl

I didn't know that batgirl was out yet - their website isn't taking orders - educate me.

A ton of beautiful work here recently. I have a question for the group - what do you do with a commission piece that feels like a let down? I got a commission at SDCC which I was pretty excited about, and when I got it, really felt like a letdown. Didn't feel like the artists best work to me and was not even really in the style I had imagined. I've gotten work from the artist before and enjoyed it, but this time I was very disappointed. What do you do with the art? How do you handle the let down?

At SDCC this year, I purchased the Galley Edition of Michael Turner's Superman/Batman run (where he worked on the Supergirl story). Peter Steigerwald (the original colorist on that project) was there and I begged him to color a page for me - he agreed and this was the result: Peter Steigerwlad original colors (copics, pen, & watercolor) on Michael Turner pencil print:

I saw it - it was as terrible as the reviewers say (this coming from a guy who thought Superman Returns and Green Lantern were at least enjoyable). Plot doesn't hold together, and it's actually a very boring film once you get past the first 30 minutes. The best part was seeing the deadpool trailer before the movie started (and I'm not even a deadpool fan).

This was a recent sale: Superman and Wonder Woman Issue 6 Page 11 - I don't suppose someone on here picked it up and would be willing to negotiate for it? Same question for Issue 2 page 5

Shouldn't this be a Superman's EX- Pal thread.....?
