Waiting on CGC SS Stan Lee Awesome Con
reddwarf666222 replied to tommydee89's topic in The Signature Room
No he paid 276 dollars according to one of his posts in which he believes 126 went towards the signature and 150 want to cover the submission. So question is what services did he recieve in the submission, what tier was the book submitted at, and what were his handler's fees? 150 seems high for a book like Amazing Spider-Man 100 to be submitted underneath to be honest yet I would have to see the breakdown of the charges. That said this may be his first submission so he may need some guidance on good facilitators to use and as well as actual turnaround time vs advertised on the sheets.- 42 replies

Blade Runner 2 on the way care of Ridley Scott
reddwarf666222 replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
You also had Porky’s, Annie, The Road Warrior, The Dark Crystal, The Thing, And Gahndi that beat ET for best picture -
The show is ok, but man I agree with the ratings the RT critics are giving this. The show was completely advertised wrong. I expected something different. Instead we got a lame Worf character who lays an egg, then a wasted episode about a sex change in which nothing happens, and a stupid Miri like episode. This feels like I am watching bad Original Trek episodes with a flare of bad Next Generation. Most people who like this like it for the nostalgia factor, but all agree the comedy is bad in the sense of bad humor and barely there. There are brief moments of greatness destroyed by sheer moments of bad writing. Give is Spaceballs, give us Red Dwarf, give us Galaxy Quest type sci-fi and humor. This show is a 4/10.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t realize the amount it could bring it down by, but I know it brought down.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING starring Tom Holland (7/28/17)
reddwarf666222 replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
From what I have seen on Spidey I would say this film fits in closer with the first issues than any other Spider-Man film. He wanted to join the FF, but said no because they wouldn't pay him. So why wouldn't he want to join the Avengers at that point in the books or this point in the films if the right offer was made. I don't think he would have turned down a suit. The soundtrack was fantastic -

Nah just crazy and fun. At least JayDog has passion in his belief. Overall Warner has had the most successful year domestically of all the studios and maybe financially worldwide. Disney has had some real stinkers. -
You should put this post in the signature forum. Right now it would get a qualified green label if graded. If you got it signed by Stan Lee then yes it would lower the grade some because they would have to grade it as a yellow

Deal with it you lost. Since you are in denial and now bring up the losing argument. Wonder Woman squashed your hero at the box office. It was the spider that performed better at the box office as well -

Yeah we all know in the end WW beat SpiderMan in actual money that went to the studio. While we are speaking It may have had more actual money go to the studio as well when all is said and done. Sure Spidey is a profitable film, but the money that went to the studio is not as much as WW and most likely not It either. -
Blade Runner 2 on the way care of Ridley Scott
reddwarf666222 replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
Yeah I agree with your replicant and synthetic. As I see this now you have 3 races of humans and whoever gets the key determines the outcome of humanity. Yeah after the first film I always thought it was up for the viewer to interpret whether he was a replicant or human. I always thought he was a human myself. -

Yeah the Deckard Replicant angle was dropped for this film. As as far as the Replicant concept I get it. -

Nope I just believe it was a lie made up to cover the tracks. The baby could be a human and replicant -

There is only one kid the girl. The boy was a fake entry to cover the tracks. She was not sick she was just in the bubble for her protection so no one would know who her parents were. -

1. It was a fake entry to cover the tracks. 2. Does not matter because the first answer was the male was a fake entry to cover the tracks. 3. Tyrell specifically picked Deckard for his place. So at some point he must have gotten ahold of Deckard's DNA and made a replicant that he could procreate with. I'm glad is he a replicant or not dropped. -

I'd go 4KUHD on this film myself instead of 3D. -

Yeah a lot of states don't celebrate Columbus Day so a lot of schools are in. The 32 to 36 million seems on track. Lets just say the studio was dumb to spend 150 million on a sequel that is 35 years removed from the original. Add in the first film was a flop that achieved cult status. Just seemed to die. So that means a limited audience saw the film and knows about the film. Sony did a bad job marketing the film. Hopefully word of mouth and good reviews will make the drop off next week slow. I honestly think the sequel was better than the original and easier for an audience to follow. This films best hope domestically to make money is to get nominated for a bunch of Oscars and get a rerelease in January. Which is is a possibility. -

Nope the ending is spot on and the right spot for a sequel. -
The show CBS purposely moved to Thursdays to kill despite being a top 15 show the season before because it didn't like the older audience.

That is kind of my point. It's like walk into a Meryl Streep film and look at the audience all the matinees will sell out, but the evening shows wont be packed. The matiness will be mostly filled with people 60 and over.
