    They played in the library and this was back in the early 80s before schools encouraged pot smoking.

    My experience as well. Real quick people stop playing. The campaign that all had the low constitution played for well over a year. Never understood it. My brother would kill your character all the time.

    I picked this up off Ebay a while back. Best condition box I have ever seen

    There was one group that played where all the characters had low levels and low constitutions because they kept dying and needed to be resurrected. There was one guy that DMd that always ran the Caverns of Theresha (sp). Through multiple campaigns no one every even made it into the dungeon. Always died trying to get in the dungeon.

    We played a mixture. I would say most of the ones people created weren't too good.

    I started playing in High School, First with my older brother and then with friends. We played before school in the library, lunch time in the library and then Friday and Saturday nights at various homes. T1 and the G modules were may favorites.

    I still remember when the Fiend Folio came out. Was out late with my friends and when I got home my brother showed me it. I was blown away, so many cool monsters.

    There are some other oddballs on the boards that buy old TSR stuff. These people should be shamed and scorned.

    I was a bit blown away with the 9.2. It was nicely vented though.

    It is pretty scary when you think about it.

    Where my cabin is at, the last mile is done by contract delivery people. There are tons of complaints of packages disappearing, mail not delivered, etc. Definitely a concern with getting stuff delivered up there.

    That is a crazy price even with the Penguin cover. You think there is any chance you have character chasers going for it because of the upcoming Penguin movie?

    Based on my observations, the Sprang recreations have been a true testament to recycling. They seem to have trouble finding a forever home. I know the Detective 153 recreation I bought wont be on the market until my untimely death.
