Superboy, Batman looks like and UGLY 7.0 and the paper looks a little brittle ...

I have a small group of golden-age on my Ebay store. The link is in my signature line, but in general, Batman 13, 14 (was CGC 5.0 slight resto), 29, 34, 54, 68, 89, Detective 164 CGC 5.0, plus a few misc things. Let me know if there is anything you are interested in.

Although I don't collect these titles (pre-hero Adventures, More Fun, etc), I appriciate the artwork and scarcity. I also appriciate those of you who do collect them. Keep them coming!

Those are both just incredible. You just can't beat the style of those early Archie titles.

If you're free Saturday night of the con, or if you've got plans you can cancel, I urge you to attend the CGC forum dinner. Joe Sarno, Gary Colabuono (I don't know how to spell Moondog's last name), Michelle Nolan, Steve Borock, Larry Charet, myself, and dozens more will be there. We've done it for a few years now, and it's a blast. It's at Gibson's, right across from the convention center, and although the nominal payment is $60, if you can attend your meal's on me. It'll be worth it to have you there talking comics with us. Here's the thread all about it: CFC Forum Dinner thanks Win, that is very generous of you. We, my comic geeks and I, also have a Friday night dinner at Mortons every year. It would be great if you would attend with us. Lots of great old war stories get swapped at that table. I must say, the August Auction is not looking too strong. I will wait a few more months to see what shows up, but no big books I am interested in yet. I am glad to see the return of so many books that have gone through the Heritage Auction house before. I was beginning to miss them ever so.

Now that is a book! I love those Actions between 100 and 200!!!

Thats a great looking 3.0. There are a ton of books I want from the next Heritage auction. Ill be picking up some Detectives this time as well. We should coordinate what you are going for versus me. Last CLINK probably ran your bill up because of me.
