Joe Sarno, Gary Colabuono (I don't know how to spell Moondog's last name), Michelle Nolan, Steve Borock, Larry Charet, myself, and dozens more will be there. We've done it for a few years now, and it's a blast. It's at Gibson's, right across from the convention center, and although the nominal payment is $60, if you can attend your meal's on me. I must say, the August Auction is not looking too strong. I will wait a few more months to see what shows up, but no big books I am interested in yet. I am glad to see the return of so many books that have gone through the Heritage Auction house before. I was beginning to miss them ever so.

Now that is a book! I love those Actions between 100 and 200!!!

Thats a great looking 3.0. There are a ton of books I want from the next Heritage auction. Ill be picking up some Detectives this time as well. We should coordinate what you are going for versus me. Last CLINK probably ran your bill up because of me.

Hey Surfer, For an old book like that, I don't think it is possible to overpay. They just don't show up that often. I think it is an amazing book. I will keep my fingers crossed that it comes back in a blue label.

#70 is one of my all time favorites!

I go back to 43. I have about 20% from 27 to 100, 20% 100 to 200, 23% 200 to 300, and then almost complete up, so a lot more to go. If I can do ten major issues per year, I will be happy so this year I have to get at least one of the majors (27, yeah right, 29, 31, 33, or 38).

Two new books in my collection. I snagged two off Heritage, First Batman 14 to replace my 5.0 with slight restoration (will be selling soon). This one is the one on Mark's website. Batman 14 Second is a Detective 79 with white pages. One towards my goal of ten new Detectives in my collection in 2006. Detective 79

Congrats on the Wonderworld 7! This book was also on my want list for about 12 years before I found a copy (which I still have in my collection 16 years later)! Enjoy it!

I actually have it open on one of my windows right now, super nice! I also have a few others open as well. I am trying to decide what to pick up next. There are just way too many books available right now.

I still need ~ 240 to finish the run so a long ways off. I am complete from 401 up and almost complete from 281 and up. Below that, I need quite a few, especially in the 121-160 range and the 201 to 240 range. I have certain condition criteria and I am cheap so I am always bargin hunting. I plan to just keep hacking away at the run until I finish it...
