  1. and since we are on the topic EC Romance... ... this is obviously one of the roughest will you see, with one of the biggest spine rolls ever... but it is a rare one... that I also picked up on the boards (again I don't remember who). I love mid grade books for their imperfections but I'm happy that thanks to edowens71 -- I have a new upgrade coming my way, so this one will be listed in my EC raw sales thread at the end of February.
  2. and here is my copy of Blackstone that I purchased from a fellow bordie (I don't remember who) ... a favourite
  3. I appreciate reading about the back story to the WEIRD SUSPENSTORIES very nice.... and yet another oddball to add to the list of things to look for. thanks for sharing,
  4. congrats on completing your run. seems like you are on a streak for finishing titles ... ... hopefully that means a little less competition for new Baker collectors coming late to the game.
  5. I sold uchiha101 some slabbed Silver Age, and hope to do business with him again. Smooth transaction, fast payment, great communication. He let me know that the book was received. Thanks.
  6. I sold Iani98's a slabbed FF book, and hope to do business with him again. Smooth transaction, fast payment, great communication - offered to pay extra for shipping to Hawaii. He let me know that the book was received. Thanks.
  7. wowzie... I've never seen that Teen Age Romances... my Gerber books are packed as I'm moving... but I'm pretty sure it's not in it. thanks for sharing... but frustrates me to think it's going to be years (and years) before I can assemble a full run or a Baker Romance title. (and I'm loving that Pictorial Romances 14 ---- with again the realization that a complete title run by expert collectors is still a feat of patience).
  8. yowzers - great books lot's to lust after in this thread.
  9. three great classic barks books - congrats on your pick up. I still have my full Scrooge Dell run, but sadly I got rid of that first scrooge appearance with my early Donalds...
  10. that Planet is a real looker. thanks for sharing.
  11. Thanks for sharing the St. John checklist. I had not seen it before. - and having finally just picked up the Gerber books, it will be fun to look for the covers and gain an ever increasing appreciation for this artist.
