  1. Great updates as always. I'm really enjoying reading this thread. Also, it does look like genesiscomics.com was registered waaaaay back in 2012, so maybe you saw something different when you searched GoDaddy.
  2. I found this little gem in the book/magazine section on July 2nd. I just forgot to post it. I'm not sure if these are exclusive to Walmart, but it's nice to see some Spidey representation regardless. Looks like these are coming out once every two months and produced in conjunction with Archie comics. I didn't count the pages, but it's a decent size. It appears that the contents are a bunch of different reprints spanning a couple different ages.
  3. For those of you that like pictures and haven't already seen this, Chuck @ Mile High posted this in one of his last email blasts: Marvel Legacy: Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Legacy: Avengers Marvel Legacy: Black Panther Marvel Legacy: Cable Marvel Legacy: Captain Marvel Marvel Legacy: Despicable Deadpool Marvel Legacy: Hulk Marvel Legacy: Iron Fist Marvel Legacy: Iron Man Marvel Legacy: Luke Cage Marvel Legacy: Thor Marvel Legacy: Venom
  4. I thoroughly enjoyed this show, with a big thanks in part to this and one other booth. Hector, I think I spent about $100 with you (didn't even know it was you). I bought a short box of cheapies and a handful of those Wolverine 66 DFs you were carrying. I told you my wife was not going to be happy with me one bit (but I'm sure you get that a lot). For those of you on the fence about attending on Sunday, this show has a healthy amount of dealers and a good mix of all ages of comics. I spent about 4 hours digging through boxes and found lots of good deal. Prices all around at most booths seemed very reasonable. This is a good show!
  5. Ha, and I guess it's also possible that he just swiped the art from your post initially too. Regardless, good luck.
  6. NP And actually, I found a larger image (actually a few of them). Take a look under the member galleries for the user Jerod. It looks like he may have swiped the art for a couple of these (or just made really low res scans) of this art and added extra characters to the middle while adding a comic book logo for superherouniverse on the top. http://superherouniverse.com/art/showgallery.php/ppuser/505/cat/500 Jerod must have gotten this art from somewhere, so maybe he knows a little more.
  7. A reverse google image search doesn't bring up much. However, it shows that the website superherouniverse.com has used the artwork in some manner. They probably have a larger image somewhere hidden, but here's a thumb of what they've done: Hope that helps a little. I wouldn't be surprised if they just swiped the art and put their logo on the page (plus added an additional character to the middle).
  8. FWIW, these were sold at Toys R Us (and probably a few other outlets). It was one of the first comic packs I purchased when I got a gift card for my birthday back in the 90s. I think I still have a relatively high grade Batman/Hulk left in one of my long boxes just waiting to be listed and sold.
  9. Or what if @Mxwll Smrt wins the bid and waits a week to disclose additional damage to the book. Then we'd come full circle!!! (Don't forget, he's had the book in his possession for a few days now at this point, so that would be a real possibility).
  10. In this scenario, what if the book is shipped back to @DavidTheDavid and we find that there is additional damage that we cannot determine the source? Then we'll be back to square one!!!
  11. New today at my Walmart are some DC Showcase magazines. These are $10 and 128 pages, reprinting a few recent stories. There are 5 or 6 variations of the cover. The following link explains them pretty well. https://comicsheatingup.net/2017/06/05/new-dc-showcase-collected-magazine-appearing-at-war-mart/
  12. This is such an awesome set, especially seeing all the books grouped together like that. I'm a little surprised at the lack of action in the thread. We've got a trusted seller, plus about $600 worth of comics in the #66's alone. GLWTS!
  13. Priority Legal has been $6.25 for me since January 1st when I go through eBay (up from $5.75 in 2016). It's even more if I go through usps.com. I'm not sure how you were only paying $6.05, but maybe you just had a bigger discount on eBay? Did you lose some sort of Top Rated/Power Seller ranking recently?
  14. Pretty sure this is a DC thing. None of the DC Hero Initiative books are ever put on eBay, as I believe there may have been some sort of spat with eBay. Maybe someone else knows the official story here.
  15. I pulled an X-Men #93 $2.49 Newsstand at C2E2 this year for a whopping $1. It was one of my better finds this year, as I've been searching for these for some time to "complete" my X-Men run. I was going to post it to this thread, but then saw you already showed a scan from Mile High Comics. This X-Men #96 looks to be the $2.29 Newsstand edition from January 2000. I found the scan on Comicvine.
  16. OK, no word back from Mr. Silvestri. I am officially nominating him for the Probation List.
