The free webcomic: Crossed - 'Wish You Were Here' finishes in 2 weeks after nearly 3 years of awesomeness. Best Crossed story ever. If it wasn't Crossed - still be in the top 10 of just...everything. Thanks Kav. Speaks volumes that this is still here. Things need to lighten up in this thread - I honestly think people would like these books, but are afraid to take them. New people should think outside of just offering comics. Posters, autographs, toys, clothing - all will have interest for someone. This was going really well..................I hope it picks back up again.

The right person hasn't shown up. The offer has a narrow audience in my opinion. Look at the offers that moved fast, they were widely popular. :shrug: We're almost to the point where either someone new to the thread has to come along or the 48 hour rule will kick in.....unless people are waiting for another reason :think: I don't think there is a hidden agenda here - it's just that 20+ people are now unable to claim until 48 hours are up, as there is only 1 x allowed per month. It will be one of those things that will work itself out. 1) Someone new will join in 2) a '48 hour clauser' will jump in 3) nobody does, and the thread drags on with RAK's until the (Ithink) 4th August comes around, and people are re-allowed back in the game. I personally hope more people join in. There's no reason not to, if you see something you like.

Belated answer - that one is 'Ink' (played by actor Gregg Lowe) - and he isn't a mutant. He was tattooed BY a mutant, but each tattoo gives him the power of that design. Well, if we were going to start it, we wanted to start it right. That is the only reason there is a delay. I didnt see anyone else saying they would go get the scrapbook and do a drawing and stuff. That stuff needed to be done before it left and started the rounds. SDCC is also a unique situation where numerous boardies will all be there at the same time and it just makes sense as the place to get it kicked off at. This is all getting waaay to personal. Justin may, or may not, be everyone's cup of tea. I get that he upsets people. But he has done some seriously good 'organising' of threads, started the 'Giving Tree' and other stuff as well. Really good stuff. I'm sure his work/life balance is fine, just as I'm certain Mrs Swick would stop all CGC board access if Mr Swick was ignoring his family. This is all over as far as this issue is concerned. Fair play to you Hokie and Kav - this though, is what I was worried about. If Kraven sort of hangs around for a couple of weeks, then people will forget about this thread. It can be a lot of fun, but if there is a gap, then like now, well, this thread went back 4 pages before it was found. Perhaps a sticky? When a charity cause gets raised, there are some very generous boardies here. You have to look at the people involved in TGT. There are about 10-15 people passing the gifts around.
