I will be shipping Kraven to an undisclosed location tonight. The recipient can do with him as he wishes. I will take my last photo of him tonight right before he is sent off. He will be missed, we had a lot of fun times together. Boardies you have my word...Kraven or any of the mess offers I have put up in the PIF thread will not be posted again. If I do claim something on this thread or the PIF I will make sure my offer is comparable. I no longer want to be labeled a junk donkey. And fair play to you! I didn't come up with the veto rules. I believe Mike's Rack technovoodoo did in this thread and it was an amazing idea . So I'm always open to suggestions or ideas, just please don't act on them before we discuss. I offered up the idea of letting the community veto an offer, initially. You changed it to allow for the offeror to veto the subsequent offer, as I recall. You're completely right! . technovoodoo And as I said before - Tylers offer have been more than acceptable. Just to share: I'm at work, and there is a whole operating theatre full of staff just waiting for Tylers offer to be claimed.We are all watching right now. Even the surgeon is impressed. Can everyone please discuss this? We talked about it and I believe that if someone offers something that is generally accepted is a fair and generous offer and for whatever reason is NOT claimed, they shouldn't get a strike. :news::news::news: How do I put this into the rules though? Is it a majority vote? Is there a poll? I need to address this in the rules and need everyone's input. :news::news::news: If an is put out, and the previous offerer has the option to veto, then maybe if the current offer expires, then they also have the option of negating the strike? Either that or Harvey. I'm the previous offerer. Tylers offer is absolutely fine. No veto from me.

Which should work as we saw with Barth and his Kraven doll! That the only difference between this and the PIF - the safeguard that you can veto some drek. This is irrelevant as this offer should be gone by now. No idea why no-one hasn't claimed it. Anyway - I'll butt out and let this thing take it's course.

Jason PM'ed me and thought 1Cool tacked onto Wall-Crawler's offer so he was claiming the litho. Again - people, please don't decide to make rules. There was no and IS no tacking on. Wall-Crawler's offer is still unclaimed. 1Cool simply gave up a nice litho! Why are you over complicating things? If Jason claimed the litho as part of wall crawlers offer and after finding out his 30 day card was played still wants to go forward why stop that? He is taking the litho as a separate transaction and also claiming wall crawlers offer as a separate transaction. His Darkhorse 1 is now what he's offering. I appreciate the input and opinion. But Jason claimed a lithograph. That's it. NOT part of Wall-Crawler's offer. Here is why I have to be strict with this rule. Play it out: Donkey takes something. Offers up something pretty drek, but questionable, but the offeror doesn't want to use the veto for whatever reason. Someone comes along and wants to move the thread along so tacks on and the tack on gets someone to claim it. Now the donkey is saved from getting a strike. That absolutely undermines the strike system. Donkeys figured out pretty quickly in PIF that they could take from each other to make sure their buddy got what he took and then when the saving donkey offered up drek, neither of them really lose. I need people to use up their "bail outs" to take that away from them and I need those that would manipulate the system to get strikes. Otherwise, it quickly becomes PIF again. People aren't getting strikes if they offered a generally accepted generous offer - as the current one undeniably is a generous offer. So please - everyone - do NOT worry about getting a strike if you offer something generous and it is not taken. (thumbs u :news::news::news: I thought of an idea that would allow people to take more than one thing a month. Occasionally, the thread will stall and an offer, even a generous one, will go unclaimed. When that happens, someone will have to GIVE and offer something without getting anything in return. If a person takes initiative and does a good deed by offering up a generous offer that is claimed without taking something themselves, they should be rewarded, right? One additional "take it" for the month. There will be no building up of more than one "take it" at any time. Just an idea I wanted to throw out there and see what you guys thought.
