  1. What the hell did I just watch? I hope to god that this was a 'dream sequence' or they have totally lost the plot. Power? Food? The world's best Laundry? Petrol etc. Utterly bizarre. Watchable, very watchable, but just such a huge tangent - I mean 3 years and WTF?
  2. Didn't you see the credits? Beth is captive in some hospital room - I'll ask the question again - has Alexandria been 'changed' into a 'safe area' in the city somewhere? Beth was certainly in a room at least a few stories off the ground. I don't recall in the comics anything other than single height dwellings. He has Beth. She's been mind effed by somebody, hence her trepidation for coming out with Darryl. Then they'll go back and tell her story this week and what exactly happened. Jim Sorry - I missed your reply Jim. Show starts in 45 minutes here - so lets see the Beth story! Have you still got that Halloween walker doll from a couple of years back? The scary kid from season #1? I'd love to know if it still works. I should have bought one - it was $250 shipped to Australia - I haven't seen one since you posted yours.
  3. Could you guys move on to Hulk #180/181 after this? Thanks.
  4. No worries Chip - had to dig through a couple of hundred issues... This is the only Rimsky cover. May 1965.
  5. Yeah, I love them. Most are by Kelly Freas and John Shoenherr - but there is one by Feodor Rimsky, which is awesome!
  6. Went to an auction and (because I love sci-fi) bought a couple of boxes of these (about 210 in total) - cost literally pennies for the whole lot. But there is always treasure in most lots if you know what to look for... Original 1st prints of the Frank Herbert trilogy - "Dune World". There were also the last 2 parts of "Prophet of Dune" and the "Dragonriders" trilogy among some of the other Analog pulps. 1953 - 1976 was the date range. A few months of enjoyable reading for a couple of $$. Not as good as most people, but for such a small price, I'm very happy.
  7. I agree - especially with the spin-off show coming. Anyone know when that is due for casting etc? Or even the title of the show?

  9. When did they go to California in the comics? We both know they didn't. I was suggesting that unlike the comics, the spin-off TV show may be about the quest to get Eugene to California - perhaps with Morgan (who seems much more 'normal' now) That way, there is a small link to the original show, but a complete arch away from the comic to produce a new series. Perhaps Abe and Rosita decide to continue on to Cali, rather than stop at the place-that's-not Alexandria-but-we-all-know-it-is-supposed-to-be-Alexandria. I dunno - seemed like a good idea to make the spin-off about that, rather than a whole new 'universe'.
  10. Tbh, I had no idea the comics use of geography was so accurate. Maybe the Cali trip is the spin-off show. I guess we will see. Thanks for that.
  11. sorry - I didn't know 'Alexandria' was a city! Geography ignorance..... Maybe they are just going to name it something else? I still think Swick is right about the premis - maybe just based somewhere else of a different name. It's not like the show hasn't taken a tangent or two. So for us foreigners - if they do still head to California - how long would the drive be? Who do you think is in the car if not a deritative of "Aaron"?
  12. +1 who the hell is driving that car? It's Aaron heading back to Alexandria. "I was spying on your people to figure out who was good and who wasn't. I wanted to grab your friend Daryl, but the walkers had surrounded the place so I was only able to get Beth." [Go on, post your fancy map ] We know it's not The Hunters/Terminus. We know it's not Gabriel. It's not Morgan. Unless they're just going to create new characters in the show? Or... ... maybe Beth died and it caused Daryl to crack and the car is all in Daryl's head. Did Carol SEE the car? All she said is "what are you doing?!" +1 The house was an 'Alexandria' test. Daryl and Beth treated the corpse respectfully, left some food behind and appeared 'decent'. When Aaron was about to invite them - walkers attacked. They could only save Beth. She will be at Alexandria, waiting for the 'crew' - who it has to be said, have turned into a formidable kick-butt group.
  13. Off topic a bit, but anyone watch Z-Nation on SyFy? 45 mins of splatterfest with some genuine comedy moments. Watched all the eps so far - and it's a lot of fun. Don't compare it with TWD - but its a great funny show - pulled in 2 million viewers for #6 so hopefully will be renewed. Good stuff and recommended with a few beers!
  14. a well written negative feedback will have a significant impact on his ability to sell effectively on eBay. No, no it won't.

I sat up and took notice when she sang the Echo And The Bunnymen title song from their 1984 LP, Ocean Rain It was "Spellbound" by Souxsie and the Banshees.
  16. I could have misheard. But, as soon as I saw him, I said "Negan!". It could've been the other guy. Didn't he say something along the lines of "You're just like us!" when he popped out of the container and into Rick? But he sure looked like Negan. Just like him.
  17. Did anyone see who took Michonnes Katana? I didn't see it at all - not even when Carol found Daryls crossbow - any idea's where it went? I mean surely she won't just "find" another - so it must be part of a later story? Maybe he finds it?
  18. For fun, games, dancing Banana's and because I'm waiting for a very big Chicken to cook... These guys are supposed to be the same person? Muscle tone loss - maybe - but having a nose enlargement whilst in captivity Errrrrr...no. Don't forget - the guy at the end of the episode was supposed to be the one Glenn released. Not convinced - but that's Kirkmans style - and that's why this Comic and TV show are awesome. But - Welcome Back! What a great episode.
  19. I thought they said on Talking Dead that was the guy Glenn let out totally agree with Harvey. "You're Just Like Us!" or something to that effect he was mumbling Ah! ok Eric - thanks!
