  1. Is funny that Mark can get these from Skybound yet refuses to contact Charlie for signatures on the OA. According to Hay, its because CA resides in the UK - but if he's selling for CA, surely he can phone him and go "Charlie - please sign each page". Apparently its too hard. Whats your take on this?
  2. ...aaaand it's going up on splash <3 Bloody hell - that was quick! I wonder when Mark got these?
  3. Just look at "Y" - Guerras work is outstanding. That shouldn't even need to be googled.
  4. Google it. Theres at least6. Some with the full story - here it is:
  5. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110950013851?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 You could buy this one and send it for a press - perhaps he will take a $ a week? (thumbs u

  7. New review of Bedlam. Pre-sale being offered on ebay and Midtown is sold out of #1. Has anyone ordered a copy at their LCS as this is looking like one of those small first print runs that can be difficult to get. http://www.usatoday.com/life/comics/story/2012-09-12/Bedlam-comic-book-series/57761668/1
  8. I'm very jealous! +1 I think mine is a 9.4. Gee, that's a shocker. Thats fricking hilarious!
  9. +1 Sometimes I just wanna be like "Hey guys is anyone else excited for the release of the new.....oh wait....new things don't exist in your world!" *nelson laugh* only spent $20 on a 9.8 . Why is that funny?
  10. Did CGC pay you to slab the book? If not, I'd say your math is a bit off  I suggest you get someone to submit your books at 20% off the $14.50.
  11. #3 is only just out. Chill my little ones, chill. In another 6 months when this is established then $80 - $100 will be ok. Who cares when most of us are up for about $20 a cgc 9.8 max? Good to see the haters pop up at the merest sniff of a modern collector getting burnt. Its a trend on here : I've been in it for years so my 60 yr old book must be worth more than your 9 yr old book. What, its not? Hate hate hate - ah its ok,ones falling in price...hahaha - damn modern collectors, told them my ASM #4652 is a winner. Bit fed up of it tbh - leaves a bit of a funny taste in my mouth thathte same old faces pop up here and wish that some of our books bomb and therefore they can feel good about themselves.
  12. And money... saying that, the one I've just sent off for grading was flawless, and I expect a phenominal grade.
  13. mess !!!! Why do I always miss these? HR stop being American-centric. Use the European Union ebay pages and they are there. There are at least 2 BIN for under $1000 currently.
  14. Only #1, #2, #2 B&W, and #10 B&W command higher prices. #2 B&W and #10 B&W had the smaller print runs of 50 and 100 respectively. #1 and #2 had a larger portion of the print run sold in Serbia as readers there tried the book. They didn't like it. The series was cancelled due to poor sales in Serbia, so the majority of issues #3-13 didn't sell in Serbia and were bought by US buyers. That's why #1 and #2 are harder to find and #'s 3-13 are more common here in the US and on eBay. #2 is really tough in high grade due to the dark cover. Most of the copies that surface are beat up. Demand is higher for #1 because if you only buy 1 Serbian you probably want to buy #1. The fact that #1 and #2 are harder to find, makes #'s 3-13 suffer value wise. People want to buy a #1, or a set of #1-13. Not many people just want a random later issue. I think you are missing another vital point: The covers for 1 - 6 all have a completely different cover, drawn by an unknown (to me anyway) artist. Cover #4 is a zombie eating a deer (based on Moores drawing) and #5 has Jim all messed up. These are the only covers by this artist in the whole world, and tbh are the rarest Walking Dead books on the planet (except the trashed French #1 - #6). The variant #2 only had 50 copies made, with an original cover. Thats less than any 'retailer variant' 'printing error' or anything else. These are the rarest books availiable and people are waking upto that. I would go so far as to say that there are more copies outside of Serbia now than in it. I bought the whole set for the original covers and variants. The print run was 500 for #1 - #3 50 for #2 and #10 variant and 200 for all other covers. Value - who knows, but as a fan of the book, I just wanted them!
  15. Raw Chew #1 sold for 99 quid with only 1 bid yesterday.
  16. Done - was a good idea I think. Fess up - it was the mention of the EDL wasn't it!...
  17. How did I call you a liar, you made a comment I didn't agree with and asked if you really watched the BBC? The second comments I made were to elaborate and explain my question to someone who misunderstood what I was asking. It was not meant to be disrespectful and if you took it that way then I am sorry. I didn't mean to be. Please quote me where I said this, I asked if you watch the BBC and you replied that you've been watching it before I was even born and told me I didn't. I watch more BBC programmes in a week than you probably do in a year, it's my job and found it funny that you made a presumption about me that was wrong. I have not once said I was the only one who could talk about it in fact I deliberately chosen not to get in a debate about the BBC with you, cause it's simply not worth the headache The biggest problem with all this is you keep putting words into my mouth and making incorrect assumptions based on my posts. You say you want to debate but the moment anyone disagrees with you, you get all disrespectful and belittling. that is not debating it's rude. Oh and I don't care how old you think I am, but you keep bringing it up like it's important. For you information I am 31 and if you want to know more about me then here you go. Aything else you want to know about me...If you weren't such a newb you would probably know all this as I'm don't exactly protect my identity and i've been on here since 2009, now why don't you share a little about yourself (thumbs u edit oh and you can reply to me but I've taken the boring advice above and I have put you on ignore so I won't have the pleasure of reading all your wonderful contributions to this community Thats a lot of personal info mate. Not sure I would be so outgoing. Just think what a ICF EDL hoolie could do with it! Braver than me Gaz,braver than me.
  18. can i have tonights winning lottery numbers? Bedlam #1 ToT #1 Saga #1 PP #1 Revival #1 Zombies vs Robots #1 Powerball: TWD #1 9.9 (thumbs u
  19. Again NEG I'm really sorry. But as Jeff said, do read it. Thats not the end. There are more episodes afterwards - quite a few in fact. As the book goes, its just a small part. It won't be ruined by that spoiler or my dumbassness in sticking it up in an earlier post. Its just one small cog in a big wheel.
  20. should sell them now then, TO ME! Sure - they are in the line for grading. A 9.8 is yours for $750
  21. Genuine question: How long until Chew finishes. When it does, what will hold its value? It's nowhere near as good as 'Y' and you can buy a really good raw for $150. I loved the first 10 or so books but then I kinda went - - and i appreciate that many didn't, and continue to be firm fans. However...I believe, without wishing ANY kind of financial woes on anyone, that maybe 'Chew', without a show on TV, could be vunerable, much the way ToT will crash if the show doesn't eventuate. I used to love it - now, I'm not so sure. I guess thats the joy of moderns. And yes,I have a horse or two in the #1 stakes.
  22. Dammit, Spoilers please, I didn't know Shane was dead, for f Sake Oh and those are pretty sweet Thats wonderful stuff Jim! Gaz...naughty!
  23. +1 (but point taken) Never read it. A lot of boardies have encouraged me too, recently. Don't have to bother now. Thanks. If you genuinely didn't know then sorry. I put it in spoilers. There loads more to it than that so read it anyway. I took the 'finished 5 years ago rule' into consideration then. This place is a minefield somedays.
  24. Are you sure? That farm from page 60 is not Herschel Walkers farm if that is what you meant. Just one they stumbled on that Dale wanted to stay at. Do you read the comic? Abraham convinces them to leave the farm in the mid 50s, just after him rosita and euge arrive, because as we all know a stationary camp is not the way to go! Spoilers please. I have read it - new readers may not. Not needed! Especially for content that's happened 4+ years ago and means absolutely nothing to a new reader. Now giving away a death is something completely different.. Well respectfully,I beg to differ. When a new reader of the comics sees this they will know that: I get what you are saying for regular readers but there are always newbies to the comic, and whilst I appreciate not many will stumble onto this thread, I think that no plots/actions should be revealed without a spoiler in the title. Just politely asking is all Andy, we're here to discuss WD, if we can't discuss something that happened five years ago, then what is the point of this thread. I've been on these boards for close to ten years but I have no idea how to even post these spoilers things, and am hoping I never have to. Jim We can talk away all day Jim. Once again I seem to have done something wrong despite having the best intentions.
