It's 9.20 am The phone icons back! Yay! After 10 minutes of waiting and annoying waffle. 'We are closed. Our hours are 8am to 8pm. Monday to Friday. Please call back during those hours" It's 9.20am. On Monday. Paypal should be open. They are not. My 'paypal assistant' message is still open and running - been 36 hours now. No reply. Paypal, how I hate you.

They were back up for about 16 hours - could not get through queue. Phone icon now gone off Paypal Australia (Phillipines) again yesterday and today. I'll try again Monday. Sick of it tbh. Surely it can't be hard to have a system whereby a tracking number is auto-checked and when shown as 'delivered' - issue the damn refund. I'm waiting for the "They sent me a dead cat back, and not my comics" defence. The books.... These look 'never read' to you?

How hard is it to see that this has been delivered? Seriously. Screw you Paypal.

Just thought I'd mention that my complaint has still not been sorted. Scammer has his comics back, and still has my money. Paypal still don't have phone contact, and I have been unable to speak to anyone via email or text for 10 days. I hate paypal. I hate the scammer more, but that's not the point. I pay the fees to be protected. I'm not, because they have zero customer service, and could not care less. I'm amazed they are still in business.

You guys have it good. Everything we post here has to be done by hand, so I use a courier for larger orders. The stuff from the Post Office - I have to pick it up (mailers, bags etc). So there is no point printing a label as I still have to go get a bag / box from PO. You guys get stuff delivered for free yes? I wonder if ebay here have taken the lack of useful postal service in Australia - if I have to print a label for everything, then I still have to go to the PO to get the mailer / bag. Just been invited, so will this week - we were due to do this 2 months ago, but the system failed. Lets just say I have no confidence in ebay Australia...but glad to get rid of paypal!

If the full size Deadpool statue and full size arcade game is thrown in, then you'd probably only lose half your money. If there was anything good, it would be shown. The fact that the 1st app of Typhoid Mary is the 'best' book shown (current 90 day GPA $68) speaks volumes. Avoid unless you can inspect in person before bidding. Resolution of my complaint has now been pushed back again - now to 15th Sept. No comms from paypal, no way to contact them. Phones go direct to voicemail No live chat Messaging not answered The on-site pay-pal community board is awash with the same complaints: No way to contact them Random account freezing Money 'on-hold' with no way to access it In Australia and New Zealand paypal currently appears to be automated fully. I have withdrawn all $$, am moving to managed payments when ebay here starts it in Nov/Dec and will be using my CC for all purchases to get bank protection. Meanwhile the CEO withdraws yet more $$ by selling more shares. I have a very bad feeling about paypal What other alternatives do you guys use for international funds transfers?

I'm glad you can talk to someone. My 'claim' was just pushed back a week. Soon be outside the 45 day limit - meaning I have to go to the financial ombudsman as the claim will 'expire' This is happening to too many peoplr. Seems like Paypal is in it's death-throws and wants to hang on to as much $$$ as it can. Ebay leaving was probably the end for Paypal.

You can't now. They are a bloody disgrace. Bought some comics (not ebay) that were trashed, opened claim - no response from paypal. Been under review for weeks - cannot get them via phone, do not answer emails, do not have live chat currently. I've removed all funds just to be on the safe side. Something seriously wrong at paypal.
