Just picked up a really nice looking copy of #1 and the variant for cheap at my LCS. Look forward to reading it.

So read the preview, liked it. Little late to the party on this but I heard it passing that there are quite a few variants for this book and the actual first issue doesn't come out till the 31st correct?

And if so could someone give me a quick list on said variants?

i'll bet Norton is swamped this week, though maybe everyone will be standing in line at the BK & Fiona table and give him some space to work.

True. The person I have running for me said they had spoken with Norton ahead of time and said he should be able to fit it in so here's hoping.

They have only done SDCC variants. The only exception is the recent variant by Chris G which is also the only cover not done by Rob.

That comes out next week correct? Really hope I can get a hold of one.

I offer advice and answer any questions that come my way. I really can't do more than that for anyone looking to make a few bucks. I recommended selling Revival slabs when they were up over $100 and was accused of trying to influence some to dump so I could buy.

 

I don't know if I appear non chalant. I have never had anyone describe me that way. I'm smug....definitely. I do believe what I do is easy and there are no smoke and mirrors. I also do have an accounting background so maybe some of what I discuss I find 2nd nature.

How crazy are you thinking? My 1st NYCC. He never had a line at ImageExpo so I was spoiled rotten getting 200+ books signed. Do you think there'll be a constant line and a book limit? I fully intend to be stalking his table with one of my CAW's for the entire 3 days.

WD has Zero Variants. Saga has ONE.

You're talking solely about #1s right? Because if not some people would take you to task on the WD having no variants.

Also for those looking for #2 1st and 2nd prints and #3 my LCS has about 10+ for the #2s and close to 30 of the #3s

I've got Troy making me one of his custom blanks that used a #1 2nd print. I have someone attempting to get me a sketch done on it at NYCC. Hoping it all works out. Oh, and awesome sketch.

I don't remember that either. I was watching ebay for 4 weeks hourly looking for a chew #1 that I wanted and never saw a raw copy sell for that much.

The high dude! In order for the ship to be sinking there needs to be a fall in prices. What was the peak for a raw #1? Barely over 300 so one auction and one BIN does not a trend make.

I'm waiting for rosen to cgc a copy of revival #3 and it coming back 9.4.

Once again my area seems to be the exception. If anyone is in the general vicinity, Graham Cracker Comics in Downers Grove has plenty of copies for #3, #1 3rd print and #2 2nd print. They all look really nice too. I picked up 2 of each for myself around 4pm and they still had about 10-15 of each available.

Because it's fun and the thread is entertaining.
