  1. I'm going to fly in the face of reason and say the best is yet to come. Do I have proof? Nope, just got a feeling. I picked up walking dead and chew because I like the premise, characters and story. Not because of the buzz about them. Hell at the time I had no idea they were as big as they were And so far I have the same feeling about revival.

Could I be horribly wrong, sure. But my gut and taste in comics hasn't failed me yet. And really for me at the end of the day for me comics are for me to enjoy and collect. I'm not a flipper and 95% of what I buy goes into my collection to stay. Hell this is the first time I bought more than 2 copies of a comic. And I only have 5 so even if I wrong heck no biggie. Besides I have friends can give copies to because I want them to enjoy it to and have discussions with.

But that's some small guy's two cents. I'm in it for the long haul because I like the series, if it hits big then I might have a copy or two to sell as just gravy.

  2. No, I haven't but now that you mention it maybe this afternoon. I made no judgements on people's passion for the title. I limit myself with the number of titles I collect so I've actually been trying to avoid reading it.

Ah the classic dilemma. I want to read the book because it sounds awesome but at the same time if I like it too much it will force me to reconsider my collecting habits. First world problems. lol

  3. :applause:

Did you sit down and actually read revival yet? (Not trying to be snarky just generally asking. You mentioned you hadn't like 30 pages back.). I have a suspicion that it will make you want to start collecting it given your other series collections.

  4. Damn time zones....what was the winning bid?

Someones going to come here after 6 hours away and see 121 new posts on Revival and assume theres a new series out next month on Fox!

That would be me. Came back after 5 hours and was like... the hell?

  5. As an aside to all the speccing, I would give my left nut for the is for cover #1. Wish I wasn't late to the party in reading this one because I would have bought it in a flat minute. So which one of you bastards has it? :frustrated:

  6. Late to the party ?.....it's always a party at my LCS :headbang:

Tomorrow, Peter Panzerfaust #1 1st prints :wishluck:

While my LCS still has plenty of the regular #1 it only had one of the variant, which I was able to snag, sad, since I think it's my personal favorite.

  7. So question for you guys. My LCS put out some more issues they had in the back and I picked out the best ones (as far as I could tell). But there are like 10-15 issues left, but they have bad wraps. The back cover is showing on the front of these books, some worse than others (some are straight down the length of the book, others are on a slant with the worst part at the bottom).

Is it worth picking these up for cover price, or just avoid them all together? I myself wouldn't want them and leads me to believe if I were to buy them to sell no one else would want to pay for them. What would you guys do?

You likely have too many copies already so unless you plan to do a quick flip like Hawkman just leave them.

I only have 5 (one I intend to give to a friend). I'm not a big baller when it comes to buying out comics like some of you guys. :baiting:

4 is plenty unless you plan to quick flip. (thumbs u

Nah I'm not a quick flip kind of guy. I'm in it for the long hall. I loved the first issue and if by a miracle the first issue goes super hot, great, if not I have copies to give to friends.

  10. That leaves 38,424 people to kill

Maybe not. We don't know yet if the woman who was stabbed is dead dead. And it would be very interesting if grandma actually comes back after the brain wound. That would really turn the whole "zombie" concept on it's head.

  11. Yeah. It's in middle of nowhere so how many could there have been? I want #2 to come out already. 2 more weeks.

You guys need to read issue 1 again. While she's driving in the cop car she passes a city sign that says the population of the town is 38,426.

  12. anyone still seeing stacks of Cover A in their LCS or are they drying up....none that i've been able to find, Cover B is rare as Hen's teeth.

There was a frenzy last Friday at my LCS they they dried up, but talking to the person behind the counter, he said they might have another box in the back. Might go check again this weekend.

  13. Picked up a Cover B at my LCS for 10 bucks. Looks to be in NM condition, but me being a newbie I could be wrong. The 3 copies of cover A I picked up a few weeks look really nice too. Though a lot of the cover As at the shop had bad wraps =/

  14. Guys, according to both of my LCS.. Diamond did sell out, and no rumors of a second printing.

They sell out of the 1:10 variant or the actual just regular #1?

    both

interesting my LCS has like 20 on the rack priced less than cover, they can't seem to give them away.
  15. Next your going to tell me that WD 100 Comixology is not hot because you paid $450 for it yesterday and can only sell it for $460 today. :insane:

Well actually one sold earlier for just shy of 600. It's going crazy for that one. I want one myself but just can't afford one =/
