  1. Chase? The blob don't ever chase. MSH 13 is not a significant book IMHO, and that's a sweet Johnny Romita cover on MM #1 (and a big deal at the time.) Has it seen its heyday? I dunno, maybe so.
  2. No doubt both books pressed beyond comprehension . . . . cover overhang at LRFC, mis-wrap and OW to W pages. Price seems within range of expected.
  3. I've never been to a Mickey-D's drive-through window . . . (and wtf is is a "Peter Luger's?") . . . sounds like splooch
  4. How many books do you submit? they share their scale but give zero information on how they score certain defects or the guide they used to determine grades. they do provide notes but I (and many others here) have plenty of books that have received 9.6 grades and zero notes. 9.0 and under, CGC is going to get it right 98% of the time. The real distinction and difficulty (yes, for all of us) is between the higher grades 9.2 and up. Anyone can nitpick and say, "that's not a ____." The hard part is stepping up to the plate and making the right call.
  5. It all matters, baby . . . it all matters
  6. But 180 is more than the last page - the Hulk is in Canada fighting Wendigo! and then Mr. Wolverine pops up - context, baby context.
  7. Pull all the 9.6 and 9.8 candidates and put them in Mylar. Take the rest as you see fit to your shows. I would separate all of the Bats and Tecs and keep them - they are only going to go up in price. Most of all - enjoy the whole experience!
  8. If you need to, otherwise start selling the high demand books, but retain the real value.
  9. Nothing - I agree it's his first appearance. Never said it wasn't. Read both books and then tell me what you think.
  10. Nothing, except Diva doesn't have any copies that he can over-grade or over-price to sell on the 'bay to some sucker. Sold three copies of MM2 already . . . so the joke's on you.
  11. Indeed, that's my whole point. This book has everything going for it, while the "1st app" is about as lame as "baby Nathan" . . . The market needs to adjust to reality.
  12. But wouldn't you really rather want to have this one???
  13. @the_blob My point was play along with his enthusiasm - don't burst his new-found bubble.
  14. There was nothing contentious about my last post here, maybe in 1976, but certainly not now. So, move along now . . . nothing to see here.
  15. And . . . it's only OW/W and a poorly cut/aligned FC.
