  1. Emailing Dre right now to exclude this from my list. Thanks guys!
  2. I really like that print. It is so much better than his NY WW variant cover.
  3. Carl vs Rick . . . I could see that happening down the road, maybe not like this, though, but I'd read it.
  4. The other thing about Jesus is that he seems infallible. He can do anything, fight anything, beat anyone. Because of this, I feel he might die in the current arc. If not, then we need to know why he is so BA. Maybe he was in special forces? Who knows. Or maybe this was explained an I missed it somewhere.
  5. I don't think he is saying it sucks, just that he doesn't enjoy it as much as he used too. I can see that point of view. To me, it feels like they have been in the village for a long time. They haven't been on the road for a while. When they are on the road, the main threat seems to be zombies, whereas when they are domiciled, the threats are other humans, which makes sense in a post apocalyptic environment. I kind of agree that having a pet tiger seems a bit fantastic. As far as character development - Carl has changed a lot over the past 20 issues or so. So has Rick's relationship with Andrea.
  6. Keep it in the SS pile for now. Thanks though, Jeff!
  7. Dude there's some sweet pages for sale.... There's even a page for $100 Side note cover for 123 & 124 up http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Issue_123 http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Issue_124 $100?! I was like, whoa gotta check it out. Then I saw that page Figures.
  8. I guess so. I don't think it is rare, there just isn't much demand for it beyond the registry people.
  9. Oh no . . . That wasn't Dre, was it? Hi Jim. Dre told me he didnt have any 9.8 candidates at that time. status could have changed though. you don't have to have it. it's the same damn cover. This is true, but I would rather not have a hole in my registry set if I can avoid it.
  10. Again, the beauty of digital comics. I downloaded it on my lunch break and have it read . . . now you jerks cant spoil things for me
  11. This is why I love digital comics. I download the new WD as soon as it was available.
  12. A quick internet search reveals this article from 2003 entitled "The floppy comic book's time is past" and refers to individual issues as floppies. It makes the same argument people make about digital vs floppies, that the former is pushing out the latter.
  13. I wonder what caused that big jump? On a related note . . . I don't know the whole story, but a woman came in to a local shop this year with a decedent's comic collection. It contained multiple copies (10+, I've been told) of number ones from the past 10 or so years. One of those was Walking Dead #1. I don't think the shop was ablew to come up with the capital to meet her asking price, but maybe those 9.9s came from a collection like this. I would bet there are a quite a few collections like this still out there.
