I know. I've just reached the point where I've accepted that I can't actually do anything about it...
I'm trying to get myself to this point, but the issue that is still bothering me is that I paid for 'fast track' on 30 books and I'm still waiting for grading 6 months after they received the books.
Meanwhile, others are receiving their 'slow track' books back in a couple weeks... Will they refund me for the fast track charges? -

So I sent in a book for the Frank Miller signing and chose the pressing option.
The status update says 'Received at CCS' and my card was charged by CCS.
Does this mean they're pressing the book before the signing?

I have about 40 books I'm trying to submit. I got through 7 so far in an hour... I'll probably end up canceling the whole order

Did you crack it out yourself? Also was that the first press?
Yes, I cracked it out my self. As far as I know, it was the first press.
I always felt that the original 9.4 grade was too low.
The book has no color breaking ticks.
It did have a couple dings that didn’t break color so I was hoping the press would bump it up, but I wasn’t expecting higher than a 9.6! -

Yikes, nothing like a potential 5-6 month turn around.
I pointed out on CGC's Instagram post that turnaround times could potentially hit 4 months due to this update. They didn't seem to appreciate that.. Attempting to correct me by restating that 'Turn around times are 3-6 weeks'

How long do with think turn around will be with press and grade on these?

FYI for those that ordered the #193 SDCC off the Skybound website. I was told that the top books in the case were damaged and at SDCC they were setting those aside. It was speculated that these were the ones sold online. I received mine today and there is a nice stress right in the middle of the spine. The rest of the book looks nice, just that one point of damage. I feel like it would have been nice if they would have said they would be VF copies on the website.
I ordered my from the Skybound site and it arrived minty fresh and packaged with extreme care 👍🏻

Trying to wrap my head around this one.. Why is ASM 650 considered the "1st Appearance of Spidery Stealth Suit" when the suit is featured on the Caselli cover for 648?
-
So I just found out that there are two versions of the Negan figure in the boxes.. The solid black version, and a rarer bloody variant.
My box had the bloody variant!!
Does anyone know what the ratio is for the bloody variant?

That box was AMAZING! Negan themed box?? Negan figure, Lucile keychain, pin, tshirt and 100 variant!! Loved it! So glad I subscribed!

I always flyyyyy through every issue! So good.. I long for the days of bi-month Dead!

So wow... Damn wowwww!
Just when everyone's counting Kirkman out (with FTWD & Outcast) he comes back with THIS!
This to me proves that Kirkman is and always will be made for TWD. Nothing else. Thats his calling in life
Even through the slower seasons, it all came down to Negan. He knew he can do anything he effin wanted, as long as he has this EPIC storyline ready to go.
I could have not imagine a better interpretation of WD 100 than with this episode. Borrowed alot of elements from the book, brilliant build up, Dramatic cinematography, beautiful BEAUTIFUL acting by all. The entire cast is just spot on. Negan and Maggie stole the show. ABSOLUTELY FUKIN STOLE THE SHOW
Takes alot for this old man to cry from a movie/TV show.. and sure as hell I was weeping like a baby
Kudos to you Kirkman. Long live the Walking Dead

Love love loved it! Insane episode. So well done. They did such a service to the fans. Bravo!

Is there a way to get a best guess of how many incentive copies there are?
"Best" is very subjective, it probably depends on your uncertainty and acceptable margin of error tolerances. And possibly how good your financial projection analysis skills and software are, and how deep you care to dig for direct or assumed comparable information. If you have a phd in financial engineering you'll probably have a better guess than most of us, but how much better? I don't think it'd be that much. Just too many unknowns.
I don't think you'll get too far other than vague generalities over time that are still occasionally untrue (statistically relevant). "ASM ratio variants on average has higher print run than She Hulk ratio variants, except when there's a special reason it doesn't. " but how much higher? and what are the special exceptions? and does it even matter since we can't calculate either number?
So for easy math, lets say it's a given there were 85,000 copies printed.
Could there ever be a case there were over 850 copies of a 1:100?
And furthermore, do they err on the safe side and print 850, or do they know that not every retailer will buy 100 copies, so they under print at 500 copies?

Image employees told me they were only selling 100 per day at NYCC

What is everyone's thought on Reborn? I picked up a copy of the NYCC variant to sit on as I thought the team could get people excited and what looks like the possible success of Seven to Eternity may have people slightly more interested in sci-fi. Anyone else think buying a few might be the smart move, or will the print run be too high (couldn't find that information).
With the 1:100 and other incentive variants, I think there will be plenty to go around.
Do we know what the print run is on this? Is the NYCC sketch the most rare at 400?
Won't know the distribution for a month. But yes, I would assume that to be the least printed. Hard to believe there are only 400 out there.
If they are the most rare, then it's crazy that they are less than half the price of the 1:100 variant right now

So here's the real question for this issue:
Will the CGC label have a notation stating "Death of Lucille"?
Call 'em and make it so.
I don't know why, but picturing that made me real sad. It's like that makes it official. It's all too real

This new ticket system they are doing this year is buIIsh*t!!

Great meeting you Shawn! Thanks for the hookup brother!

Those of you going to NYCC, if I'm not at the booth this weekend when you stop by, be sure to come back around at some point. I love walking this con. So I try to sneak away when I can, but I always come back to the booth.
When you do catch me, tell me your board name and say hello. I'll have something for ya.
I was there earlier today but I didnt see you.. I'll swing back around! Planning on loading up on skybound merch before I head out for the day.
I'll be on the lookout for ya, you silver fox

How long are TATs for mechanical errors?
I had two separate modern submissions that were sent with case damage to every book.
CGC received them for correcting on 12/3/2021 and 12/14/2021. Been sitting at 'Scheduled For Grading' for weeks
