  1. This was a great feature that CBCS had from their launch, and glad to see this finally make the migration to CGC. It won’t help on the millions of previously graded slabs, but you have to start somewhere. A positive move.
  2. At one point, I had two versions of the zombie graveyard scene, and remembered that a had a shot of the two of them together. I traded the other one away. Also came across a picture I had taken of two of the others in the thread together before they were framed as size reference. I thought I may as well share these. The smaller canvas in the first picture is 24” x 30”. “The Return” on the right is 20” x 30”.
  3. I feel that I need to even out the artist ratio, as it’s been all Enric and Sanjulian from me lately. Here is one of my favorite large-scale Jose Gonzalez pieces.
  4. I picked up this Sanjulian cover 5-6 years ago from the Dark Horse revival of Creepy. A clear tribute to the EC story “Foul Play”.
  5. The face on the zombie coming out of the ground is fantastically gruesome and realistic. I do like it when there is something happening in the painting as opposed to the more static pose. “The Return” is another one of mine that I feel this way about as well. I have the painting and pencil pieces.
  6. Well, since the topic was handy, here is another from my collection and the current artwork in my avatar. Enric Torres-Prat.
  7. Happy to see one of our own snagged those. I thought those were good value and great looking copies. Nice work!
  8. Spectacular pick-ups! All beauties, but maybe the most amazing is the Skywald local find. Congratulations!
  9. With a big thanks to ThisIsWhoWeAre for sending me a message that this was put up for sale, I finally got the Creepy 1968 Yearbook upgrade I’ve wanted. The scan is kind of lousy, but I think you’ll get the idea.
  10. It’s always slow going upgrading Gothic Tales of Love. These two happened this week.
  11. I thought I might share another Sanjulian pencil piece from my collection.
  12. My sickness required me to have two copies, as the square bound is tough to read without leaving the evidence.
  13. My understanding is that all of the Sanjulian covers for Warrant have been newly commissioned, as contrasted by the reprinted Frazetta and Jones covers. The Eerie 40 cover would have been painted in late 1971 or early 1972. Many of the new Sanjulian covers have reminiscent aspects to some of his earlier work, such as in this case. A Creeps Dracula cover comes to mind as well. They’re just too similar to not be on purpose.
  14. I updated the three Sanjulian pictures with new in hand improvements. While taking some pictures of those, I realized that I hadn’t shared these two from the prior purchase. Hopefully, enjoy. This make me realize I have another 35 pieces by our Spanish artist I haven’t posted in this thread.
