If you don't mind me asking. What do you do for work? Did you invent the Internet or something and get crazy royalties every time someone logs on? Can you buy me some sweet comics? I would like you even more then.
I've wondered this for some time

Good luck with things!
I'll be watching
Please share some pics when things get to that point.

Period piece like "Mad Men"
Galactus trilogy set in the 60's as it was originally written.
Get everything right, hair, clothes, cars, etc... all 60's
And then here comes ultra technologically advanced Galactus and the Silver Surfer.
I think that a period piece would be beyond cool, and just the thing for a fresh, successful reboot

Yes, change it for the New Year, Summer, Halloween and Thanksgiving - BUT I also REALLY like Christmas too!
Great display!!
I really enjoyed looking at it
Thanks for sharing!

That looks great!
I'll be watching for sure

120-123 is a nice four issue Galactus story with the first appearance of the Air Walker.
120 is one of my all time favorite covers
-
Still waiting for this on Blue ray so I can hate on it from the comfort of my own home.

Yes, thank you
I was never entirely sure what foxing was, and the causes of it.

They make one that radio shack sells with three lens, you look through one for basic magnification, and then slide the second one over the first for more magnification, and then slide the third one over the other two for maximum magnification.
I like it better than the single lens models

I am so ready for this

Wow
What the heck is a matter with some people?

The 1954 version will be hard to beat.
It was a childhood favorite of mine, right up there with the original "Journey to the center of the earth"

eBay removed the feedback you left? Did they give you a reason?
seller isoldgrit sent and empty box to me, too. been dealing with this guy's empty promises for 7 weeks and wondering how such a negligent seller could have good feedback.
to hear that ebay deleted your feedback is very discouraging. if you have any advice, please share.
They said it violated their feedback policy.
He claimed he shipped my book to somebody in California and trying to get it back. PayPal gave him 2 weeks to response to the dispute but he failed to respond so he tried to appeal and PayPal denied it.
You're better off filing a dispute.
Update:
I left negative feedback, it was removed in minutes. I called eBay to ask what my violation was --
eBay: We're sorry, there was no violation, the feedback was mistakenly removed. The representative who made the mistake will receive additional training.
me: can the feedback be re-posted? or can i post another?
eBay: No, and no, sorry. But we'll make a report of this.
me: What was the reason recorded for pulling the feedback?
eBay: The seller isoldgrit requested feedback removal on the basis that a full refund was issued.
me: He shipped an empty box, and to an address different than mine. I'd like to be notified with the findings of your investigation, is that possible?
eBay: No, sorry, but we'll investigate and take proper action.
--
I'm not sure if that even has any real meaning. But PhoKing, I would advise at least calling eBay to request an investigation. sellers like isoldgrit are such a poison to the safe marketplace environment created by the honest sellers out there.
Just makes you want to drive down to the ebay call center, and start punching people in the face
We'll see how this one turns out...
I won an auction late-night on 9/4/15 from Isoldgrit (not knowing he was a problem seller here). I put in a bid and went to bed. I found out I won the next morning. When I had a chance to get to my computer to pay the next day (early afternoon), I open the invoice and found that the $20 shipping cost that was listed in the listing was now $35. I sent a polite message asking what the reason was for the increase in shipping cost. I assumed it was an error and that he'd re-send a corrected invoice.
I hear nothing for the rest of the day on Saturday or all day Sunday. I figure it's a holiday weekend, I'll get a response after Labor Day.
Monday morning (today) I open my e-mail and find that an unpaid item dispute has been opened against me. I sent another message referencing the first and asking again why the increase in shipping appeared. I also attached an image of the ebay rules stating that changing the price of shipping after the listing is over is an ebay violation and that I should contact them about it. I asked that he get back to me by the end of the day.
I'll come back here with any new development, but given isoldgrit showed up here on the boards, I'll be sure to be on guard.
Did you bring the price switch to ebays attention yet?
Or are you waiting to see what Isdumbsh*t, I mean Isoldgrit says about it?

Side note:
It's starting to look really good on the show for anyone with massive credit card debt, out on bond awaiting trial on criminal charges, or in the middle of foreclosure actions.
Those with a mountain of student loan debt will be also be breathing a sigh of relief soon.
No doubt,
It's time to go buy a fully loaded hummer, or some other type of beefy off road vehicle.
Finance the whole thing, the world as we know it will be over before the first payment is due.

also, it's starting to make some sense if there is also some flu out there that kills a chunk of the population, putting a ton of zombies out on the street all at once, because zombies biting people and people dying normally would not create enough zombies to overrun the military and police and the 100 million or so gun owners in this country, particularly now that they know to shoot at the head. i don't think an epidemic flu was ever really brought up in twd.
but clearly not everyone who is dying from natural causes right now is turning zombie.
they seem to hint that bad smack might have been a cause, but that doesn't explain the overall population being sick.
it's a different series than TWD. it might merge into that, but it's going to be a while.
I agree, just people dying and turning into zombies at a normal rate would be easy to control.
Also, who have you seen die that didn't turn into a zombie?
That heroin dealer died from a gunshot, not the flu, and he turned into a zombie.
I don't think it's bad heroin, or the son would be a zombie too.
The girl OD'ed, died, and came back as a zombie, the heroin was what killed her, that's all.
I can't wait for the daughter and younger son to get eaten, talk about annoying.
Does every zombie show have to have a carl or what?

I need to see this now.The 13th Warrior is just an amazing film.I usually don't like deconstructed myths, but this one is so well done, as is the novel by Crichton.
You've never seen it?
You're in for a treat because it's great!
I agree that a young Vladimir Kulich would have made an incredible Thor

I bought it on a 'blind buy' myself. I find it's only watchable in pieces, like those 2nd unit sequences in the some of the more blander Roger Moore Bond films of the late 70's in the early 80's. Compared to Batman & Robin, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Spirit, Jonah Hex, RIPD, Catwoman and other terrible downright funnybook movies, ASM 2 is a two star movie. Since I don't base any judgement on negative boardies who base their opinions on box-office mojo or Hollywood gossip, I'll take the high road on voicing an opinion on FF before I view it myself. One of my top 100 favorites of all-time was the "mega-dud" movie The 13th Warrior, which always had packed showings, yet only lasted two weeks. Another "comic-book"-type dud (critical-financial) I enjoyed from Fox, was Ravenous too.
Love that movie!
The 13th Warrior was great!!
The part before the big end fight where they are all saying the Viking prayer is epic!

My early FF run
Can you imagine if somebody heavy sat down on that couch without looking?
First you'd hear a bunch of plastic cracking sounds, and then the wail of despair as Wipple sees what happened.
Kidding(when I saw you had them all lined up like a seat cover it was the first thing I thought of)
Great looking lineup you have there.

New name
"Panties are still in knots"
You're on the right track here
I think "Knotted Panties" sounds a bit better though
