  1. He bought a GA comic off me and was a pleasure to deal with - quick payment as well! Kudos to him indeed, kudos!
  2. She was not. For all their grandstanding about doing things together as a team, they were very quick to put together THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAN EVER and not even try to talk to Marvel :P I don't think it was about things being more important, but rather logistics - she travels at her own speed, not via jump gates, so whenever she found out about the battle it would have taken time - and it didn't seem like the Avengers even tried to call her before doing the time heist so I assume the only reason she was around for the battle was dumb luck (since obviously Strange or Wong didn't grab her like they did with the rest of the heroes, or else she would have been there on the ground with them)
  3. wut? She didn't wait long at all, she destroyed it the second she arrived back on earth - it was literally the very first thing she did. My main issue is WHY go back to New York for the chance at only THREE infinitie stones, when they could have just all went to Titan the moment Thanos was tied up with FIVEstones, and had Thor cut his arm off then (That entire battle almost worked if it wasn't for Starlord hesitating and snapping Thanos out of his stupor)
  4. I"m not talking about 'depth' being returning the stones (as they as a separate story element), but rather the unique properties of each stone (such as the soul stone specifically being sentient) which doesn't add anything to the story. The audience only needs to know these stones are powerful and a generic property (power, time, etc...) - anything after that is superfluous. I'm just saying there is zero reason to introduce and explore the idea of trapped souls and a sentient rock
  5. Yeah, I remember it being done in the comics but feel that would have been another level of exposition in an already heavy film (especially having to explain why they other stones are not like that as well). I would prefer they stay away from that and just have left her dead-dead (without any time shenanigans)
  6. I honestly just took that as a guilt laden dream Thanos had while temporarily knocked out from the snap, not necessarily him talking with a 'soul' within the gem.
  7. The amount of changes they can actually do to Sonic might be limited, as they need to maintain sight lines with the actors in all the existing footage. So changing Sonics height is possibly one oft the few things that will be off the table, and really I don't think it will help the overall quality of the film itself (It will get some hesitant butts into the seats, but otherwise this might be a classic polishing-a-turd scenario)
  8. Ah yes, the many gamers who cry about respecting the creator's artistic vision and not getting them to change anything seem to have changed their turn with this movie :P
  9. Unfortunately that's all for now. Think I spent ten times more time making those 'featured' panel images to help sell em than they actually sat for sale.
  10. Adventure Comics #64 $64 Oh boy, this one is something of a mess. I bought this on ebay years ago and the seller disclosed NOTHING of the real condition of the issue, big loss for me and just want it gone. The cover for this issue has lots of tape on it, so much so that you might be mistaken in thinking the cover was printed on firm plastic. Cover is detatched, but looks actually really nice with the colors. Interior is also held together with tape on the spine, and the interior pages are loose since the tape only is hold the outside wraps. It is complete. Either way, a decent reader copy for some good Sandman, Starman and Hourman stories..oh and snakes...lots of snakes for some reason. I can't even begin to grade this so I don't know...64 for 64 sounds like a guess on value More in the spoiler
  11. Adventure Comics #60 $140 Classic Sandman cover., Full page ad World's Best Comics #1 within. Also a remainder issue with the top 1/3 of the cover and first page missing. Cover wrap is detached and split, but otherwise it is complete. Inner pages are tanned, with some staining near the middle of the right edge - but otherwise present well and a great reader copy. More pictures of the issue in the Spoiler:
  12. Marvel Mystery Comics #10 $130 Conclusion of Human Torch and, Sub-Mariner battle., Terry Vance begins. Awesome Alex Schomburg cover. Top 1/3 of the front cover and first page is missing, with a cut going through the first couple pages from where the cover was cut off. I'm including a reproduction cover wrap with this issue, which means you could take the reproduction top third and display it with the original bottom cover (the colors are amazing on the cover and interior). Missing centerfold, and the last page is mostly missing (the black discoloration you see on that final page seems to be waxy, like a crayon coloring). Rest of the pages are in great shape and the colors are impressive. Pretty sure this is the cheapest way to get this issue More pictures of the issues / condition in the Spoiler:
  13. Looking to clear out some old issues I have sitting around, mostly remainder copies that were used to help restore other issues. These are some pretty beat up comics, but they are still Golden Age goodies at the cheapest price. Please no hall of shamers or probies. I ship anywhere in North America, and I only accept Pay Pal. All prices are in USD. $9 shipping within Canada, and $12.00 for shipping to the USA, extra issues beyond the first i'll ship free. First timestamped gets it. ALL SOLD. Wow....and here I wasn't sure if anyone would care for trashed GA issues
  14. While I do appreciate how it is made very clear the tone of the show will be horror, I didn't much care for that trailer (mainly the lighting and editing). Regardless, I remain excited (that is if DC Universe gets its act together and becomes available for anyone outside the states)
  15. I could have sworn I posted this already in this thread...nothing in the search, but if for some reason I already did my face will sure be as RED as the inks on this perfect cover.
  16. Sigh...I lost the recent auction for a copy of #1 on HA, so this thread is making sure the wound of regret stays open
  17. Being submitted for grading doesn't actually do anything for supply (in fact, a larger census could be seen as a negative as it might imply the book is less rare than the public thinks) but increased interest might cause people to hold onto their copies while even MORE people come into the market looking for a copy (which they in turn also hold onto). Eitherway, supply will decrease (though yes, this is hardly a book that deserves the 'scarce' label and I should save that for talking about actual rare books)
  18. If this is anything like Matt Fraction's Hawkeye series, it will be amazing
  19. If anything this helps. By the time the X-men come over to the MCU it will renew the crazy frenzied interest in this book, which will be even more scarce (right now we have Colossus in Deadpool for attention from the movies)
