One of the rules on sub grades is if the two lowest subgrades match, that is the final grade. That is what happened here. If the sub grades were 8.5 8.5 10 10 it would still be an 8.5. Paul

This was one holder that simply missed the sealing process. We are human and sometimes mistakes are made. We fixed it at no cost and he had the card safely back in hand about a week later. Paul

Be realistic is all I would suggest. We do not want to be sticklers and bump a lot of cards. But if we see a card that should obviously not be in a certain tier, it will be bumped. For example today we saw two Grand Party Trainer Certification Cards in bulk (max value: $100). That is obviously not the case as those cards are $500 at the very minimum. Cards like that will be bumped to the appropriate tier. Thanks, Paul

A "Base 2000" card will be described as such: Charizard Pokemon (2000) Base Set - Unlimited - 4/102 Holo - 1999-2000 This is how Charlie thought it should be, and he is our Pokemon expert so we will defer to his expertise.
