As you said, not to derail, but there are a least a couple-few more appeals with eBay, the first being the number of users. Another is searchability and access to past sales data. Major keys do great at the auction houses, but those modern books which would get overlooked sell like hotcakes on eBay. (and these are not $10 low value books; $300+ books)

I was a little stunned at the hammer on that one. I didn't even see that one until I scrolled through the ending prices today. The non-reprint version doesn't come up very often, but (IMO) there are better Cole romance covers. Perhaps a completionist? I overspent as it is and now going back see things maybe I should have bid on. Damn GA and your general scarcity for cool books!

approx $825 That copy was listed on their site for a pretty penny. I guess it was pulled from the Buy It Now and added to the auction. Here is the eBay listing and then minus approx 10% to get to the MCS price. I only know b/c I was watching this on eBay and was surprised to see it ended at that $1k+ price; now I know where it ended up.

You may not be able to answer this but, why does the 2nd printing (top pic) have a First Edition date (October 2007) earlier than the 1st printing (bottom pic) First Edition date (February 2009)? Are these pics from different SP books just to show the printing info?

Same. Had been holding the couple I have until it popped. It’s the First appearance of someone who made an appearance in the latest episode. Thanks for the tip; listed 2 this morning and sold within an hour. Made me go and up the price on my variant.

What happens if my membership expires prior to CGC grading (or shipping) my books? i.e. if they are still being pressed, or if they are still waiting to be opened? Do they grade them since the form was submitted prior to expiration or will they put the screws to me for another year?
