  1. Please tell me this was a best offer at a lower price.
  2. The Heritage marketing team has been exceptionally gracious with some requests I have made of them. I’m returning that courtesy by allowing them to control the release schedule when it comes to the bigger books. They are being gracious b/c you are bringing them lots of money. I'm not saying you have to dictate when the books are auctioned on their platform, but you can say what they are.
  3. I’ll ask Heritage to hurry up. They might listen to me. When you give them a $1.5 million book to sell, the customer service level is as sweet as a pile of Greggy’s Bronze Age DC Romances. Aren't these your books you are consigning? Can't you just say what they are?
  4. Full page insert or partial? There's about 10-12 pages for A 30th, but not an insert like the Tattooz or Mark Jewelers.
  5. I was as surprised as everyone else. I have been to a couple stores with short-boxes of GA, but then it's majority Classics Illustrated, Dell, Disney, etc. There was actually some quality this time!
  6. First copy I’ve found. Forgot where I read alleged details on it, but this copy was also found in the Midwest.
  7. I could not resist the call to buy more comics I have not seen before.
  8. Yessir! This store made the whole trip worth it. May go back one more time today and go deeper in debt.
  9. I’d be interested in a few if we could figure out a price. No buyers/sellers premium
  10. The bidding escalated quickly at the end. Was sitting around $800 for a while.
  11. Personal update: I consigned 24 raw books (mostly GA) and they were ready for pricing approx a month ago. 14 items sold as BIN; 1 sold as a Best Offer. 6 I have ready for the next auction; this will be my first time using their auction system. 3 more books I am letting sit near my original BIN price. 2 are a bronze and a modern book tied to movies; 1 is golden age which has only received a low-ball(ish) offer so far.
  12. So they would grade, scan, list, and ship your items for free? How long did that last? Doesn't sound like a good business plan.
  13. Very cool story; thanks for sharing. Is he taking orders for shirts? ;)
  14. Yep, still have it. Found it on a family trip to LA while checking out the local shops. They knew what it was but still priced it below FMV at the time.
  15. @MAR1979 - when you own a copy (not a 9.8) you always want the price to be higher. ;)
  16. This Sunday, March 20th, the DuPage MightyCon returns! https://mightyconshows.com/show/dupage 10am - 5pm DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Rd, Wheaton, IL $8 at the door; if you buy online you get in 30 mins early at 9:30am Kids are free @jsilverjanet and @SharpComics.com will be there selling
  17. Yes! Glad I held on to my copies. Now for Rising Stars… (though there are so many issues, 1, 0, 1/2, etc).
  18. And this site appears to give a page by page scan of all 52 pages. https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=26616
