  1. Since we are all sharing, below is my comparison for mostly GA-era comics. The one copper I sent it I had as a 5.5 and MCS listed as a 6.0. A few of the larger downgrades are due to centerfold issues, as I did not fully check some before sending in. A couple of them I have no idea on, but admittedly (see above), most were a front/back grade.
  2. What era/years are the books above, which were further off than anticipated? Did MCS include any notes in the listing?
  3. In this scenario, I would've just returned the comic. I absolutely hate scuffs. I never, ever ask (or give) a partial refund. They're stupid ... if the comic isn't what you wanted, return it. "Crystal clear" ... now where did I read that? The buyer was given the option of a return and full refund; he chose to keep the comic so maybe the scuffs weren't so bad.
  4. I would love to sell slabs on MCS, but I want to sell a ton. The problem is getting the slabs to MCS. Was hoping they would make a rounds of some of the bigger shows and perhaps accept consignments on-site, but everything took a turn 2 years ago.
  5. Sorry--looks like I broke something last Friday while making a change. That's fixed now and all recently posted or re-priced consignments are once again listed on eBay as usual. I saved the internet!
  6. Exactly; even the old price listing, which should have been canceled on eBay (and then a new one created) doesn’t show up. @mycomicshop - did we do something incorrectly or is something larger afoot?
  7. Not according to my consignment page. Here is Dickie: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=55594180
  8. Maybe it’s just me — or how I’m searching — but comics I recently adjusted prices on are no longer showing on eBay. examples: Dickie Dare #4 I modified 4 days ago and a Fight Comics #11 I changed this morning.
  9. Wish I would have known you were selling. I think we messaged each other a few times when I was looking for Cole stuff. Good luck!
  10. I have nothing to go on except anecdotal auction results (from various ages) and my own limited selling, but it *feels* like the purse strings have been tightened recently.
  11. For Dark Horse series: Heir to the Empire 1 4 Clone Wars 1 Legacy Knights of the Old Republic Phantom Menace 3 Star Wars 7 10 13 17 19 Jango Fett Open Seasons Dawn of the Jedi Force Storm Old Republic
  12. Was watching but forgot to bid. Didn’t it end in the middle of the day? Too bad about the centerfold.
  13. Sweet copy! Looks better than 5.0 for sure. It beats the pants off of my copy, but so does that price tag.
  14. Anyone know what became of this Secrets of True Love? the bay
  15. Another BB 105?! That's 4 in about 2 months. And I'm pretty sure I've seen that particular copy before...
  16. Nope; ordered a different book and immediately refunded. The Annual doesn’t show up now (removed I guess) but I can still find my second book when I search. No idea what is going on over there.
  17. Is 1/28/22 the Received date of your consignment(s) or the Setup Start date? (and how many comics?) My 24 raws were Received 1/24/2022 and have been sitting in Setup (scan and file) purgatory since 2/8.
  18. FWIW, according to the store, the show was filmed in 2019/2020 and all/most of that is already gone.
  19. Is it the 3.5 restored? I'm just trying to find your consignment that sold. Usually MCS puts items on their site as well as eBay, but I don't see a Planet #47 completed listing on eBay within the past 2-3 days. I guess it sold before they put it on eBay?
  20. Completely understand there is a lot of work in selling raw, that's why I sent them to you. ;) (and have sent others in the past.) My 24 comics were received by MCS on 1/24. I knew grading -- as they are raw and GA -- would take some time, and that actually went quicker than I expected. It's this final step before selling (item setup: scanning and filing), that seems like it's dragging (started on 2/8).
