  1. Book is sold. Thanks everyone for the kind words and PMs.
  2. Thank you. I thought the same on the pages but I guess CGC thought differently.
  3. Rules: 1. First "takeit" or similar in thread or PM wins by timestamp 2. Payment via check or money order; will ship once cleared 3. Shipping to US addresses only 4. No HoS or Probation sales 5. No returns on CGC books 6. USPS Registered shipping is included in the price Sorry, I do not have a scanner for slabs. I can provide additional pictures by request. Thanks!
  4. Since I’m now watching prices for my own interest, over on Heritage the prices for Showcase 4 went up a good deal from March to the latest June auction (pretty close to $6k a point).
  5. And won for a good deal less than the April auction. If you're not one to obsess over PQ, seems that missing out the first time worked in your favor. In any case, a fantastic book and one I still "need" for my Baker collection.
  6. Is this where we interpret “closing down” and “over” as two different things?
  7. Didn’t you start this thread with saying “Bad Idea is over”?
  8. Bottom row is all late issue Silver Surfer newsstands. No idea if they’re worth anything but I liked them.
  9. Thanks and thanks. Though I believe prices will go down, unless there is a giant shift either way (up OR down), I don't know if there will be a consensus, as now that $6150 sale is relisted. But, I'm still game. @Wolverinex - to put a bit of a parameter around it, when is the start of the second series? First day it's available on Prime -- end of day, a few days later, etc?
  10. Sure, what's GPA for the book now. Someone look it up for us please. By the time the 2nd season airs, it will be higher then today. @jsilverjanet - do you mind doing a solid and copy/paste the various metrics for Invincible #1 9.8 (non-SS)?
  11. By second series do you mean season or something else? I may be in for a little wager if you are.
  12. I agree. If you can get $10 large for Invincible or any modern book for that matter, I would cash out in a second and look to buy a major SA key like FF1, AF1, or something of the sort. Even a 0.5 of those books is still a better buy than a modern. I'm not saying Invincible, or any modern is worthless, therefore Sell, Sell, Sell. IMO (again) The Walking Dead (tv show) was a cultural phenomenon, on basic cable, lasted multiple seasons, a spin-off, and the high for a 9.8 was $2500 (note: "was" the key word, before all of this nuttiness, in the TWD heyday. I just looked it up and I guess it's around $3500 now). Invincible is a cartoon (it may be good and "adult" but many people will be turned off b/c it's animated), on a streaming service, has a single season under its belt, and a 9.8 can fetch multiples of TWD? No brainer. (And I'll say it: JK Simmons voice acting was downright rough at times.) Though some moderns are looked down upon, they are more of the overall market than SA keys; new issues come out every Wednesday and moderns are more heavily bought/sold than any SA key.
  13. I certainly am. time to go back to selling beanie babies I'm selling everything to buy NFTs of Jerky Boys calls.
  14. Hector told me last night; I was sad. I hope all the dealers did well. I had a good time.
  15. I am very pleased all of my raw Sandman #1 and #8 copies are in CGC purgatory right now.
