Is this video “upsetting” people who already send books to CGC or people already against grading comics (or against CGC specifically)?

Modern mag submission came back. A little low I think on the Britain but the newsprint paper is hard to grade. TMNT is 2nd print. Economy sub of more mags probably a few weeks out still.

So $35 for shipping doesn’t include insurance? What does that money go towards?

You’ll never guess who got a collection in and didn’t have time to price it before the show. Didn’t even have time to take those old prices off the books. No time!@greggy Fortunately, some other books were priced, like these non-bagged, non-boarded Free Comic Book Day comics and other carp for $5 each.

Tomorrow! I will be there, digging deep in the discount bins, wearing a Phase Three sweatshirt.

I’d say, conservatively, a 6.5 or so. A small tear and foxing on the back cover.

Thank you for taking the time to check your copies and provide me with more background. I always thought if it said "CANADA" anywhere it was not the same and, therefore, "lesser". So, even if it's printed in Canada, as long as it's published in America -- and has US ads -- I'm good.

You apparently paid full boat for what you thought were originals, and perhaps the seller as well, unless he's a professional dealer. Interesting that it says, "Published...By Media Publications", and then, "printed in Canada". I think the fact that the original publisher is listed, and the fact that it's number is correct (some Canadian printed American comics have a different issue number) would pretty well qualify it as the McCoy. Same with the Mysterious Adventures if those two qualifications are met. The American ads certainly would also point to being genuine. Oh man, now I'm extra confused. For the MM #4 I was going by the CGC label as I can't find any interior pictures for that book. The CGC label says Aragon Publishing, but MCS has it as Media Publishing. Does anyone have indica shots of MM #4 or MA #6 with the US indica? Even the scanned version of MA #6 on comicbookplus is the Canadian version.

That's somewhat the problem; I didn't pay a bargain price (seller didn't disclose and probably didn't think to look) so wondering the difference. The Mister Mystery #4 says PRINTED IN CANADA and is published by Media Publications (instead of Aragon). The Mysterious Adventures #6 says PRINTED IN CANADA but is published by Story (same as US edition).

Ok, golden age experts, I need some assistance here. I bought a few comics that look really nice, but, two of them are printed in Canada. 1. What is the price % difference for a Canadian edition? The comics are Mister Mystery #4 and Mysterious Adventures #6. 2. The Mister Mystery has an angled cut to it (pictures below); is this a trim or just an odd cut? Or, what else should I look for to determine trimming? It looks extra weird at the top part of the back cover, when looking at the pages.

Is there a way -- or will there be a way -- for users to retrieve Sold item data from MCS?

The Captain 6? An 8.5 just sold for $9,300 - no pedigree but Off-White.

Does anyone know if the color touch and glue were part of the original collection or "added" later?
