  1. Feeling better about my "second prize" Mask purchase every auction.
  2. Of course they can, since the books belong to the consignors and auction sites are more than willing to bend to the wishes to the consignors just in order to get their books. I even personally know of one consignor who had all of his books slabbed back at the end of 2015 and then simply left them all with Heritage to auction off over the following 3 years, based upon his auction schedule that he wanted. So yes, it's always left to the discretion of the consignors. Do you know if this is true for *all* consignors, or only the big boys? So, knowing the stigma attached to December/Christmas auctions (or other allegedly "bad" selling times), consignors willingly decide to sell then?
  3. Mask #1 (other guy) 1.5 listed and quickly "removed" from eBay. Here. Same seller also has a Mask #2 CGC 1.8 still available.
  4. Any way to look up past sold items if *not* in your watch list? A la Heritage's site? I'm trying to find a Hulk 1 (other guy) 9.8 from earlier this year.
  5. Is anyone able to see what the Hulk 1 9.8 (heavily restored) sold for on Comic Link earlier this year?
  6. How about this one? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F133264972586
  7. Please let us know if this becomes a reality. Perhaps just start with graded books and see how it goes.
  8. My MCS wishlist: I have a couple dozen slabbed comics I would like to consign. To avoid high shipping costs, heavy packages, and a likely risk of slabs getting damaged, it would be great if MCS setup at a few large cons over the year to accept on-site consignments.
  9. But now it’s actually released on Netflix. I haven’t watched and don’t know if it will have a slow burn and price bump like Umbrella Academy or The Boys, but just the fact it’s on tv goosed the stale prices.
  10. The Sandman and Thor pic is what I found at the going out of business sale, plus a Moon Knight #15 (Miller cover). Other pics are what I found at a Black Friday $1 sale also in LA. A few I would have liked to find a few months ago, but still good for a buck.
  11. LA, man. And two people did leave bc of lateness. I’m on a trip and have nothing else to do so I stayed.
  12. I found five comics; forget what they all are. Negotiated down from $35 to $25 and handed him two twenties. He gave me back $5 and said it’s my lucky day. I said it’s not; we agreed on $25. Then said he didn’t have enough change and to pick out two more comics. I said there aren’t any more I want. He then said I could take a T-shirt — which was $10 and I didn’t really want either — but I took one and left.
  13. Not a garage sale, but an ad for a comic store going out of business. Said it started at 8:00; guy didn’t show up until 8:30. When he finally opened the door I asked how much are the comics (there were about 20 long boxes stacked on a table); he said, “There are some $3 comics in there and some $20... so $7 each.” He failed to mention the comics worth $0.10 or less that made up the majority of what he had. No wonder he was going out of business. He also didn’t have change.
  14. Is the copy you have on eBay the only copy you own?
  15. 1. Bake the CC fee into the already exorbitant "buyer's premium", whatever that is. 2. If I stop doing business with a business (ahem) for reason X, how do they know I stopped purchasing from them for reason X, as I will never have the need to go into their store again?
